Hello, im from the UK I went to Istanbul Turkey to do Liposuction on my Abdomen and flanks. The company I used was Longevita and my surgeon was Dr Füat Yuksel.
Dr Füat and his team were very nice and friendly. The hospital was clean and I was monitored very closely before and after surgery.
My surgery stared at 1.30pm and I returned to my hospital room at 5.00pm. When I woke up I was extremely cold as anesthesia does make you cold.
After the surgery I was give pain medication And antibiotics. I had to stay in the hospital over night to be montiored but was allowed to go back to my hotel the next day. The hotel was 5 mins walk away. They suggested I walked to get my blood flowing and to avoid blod clotting.
I will post some before pictures and 2days post op pictures. I will keep updating as times goes by.

did you have drain in place after surgery? How long did you stay in turkey? Were there scarring? I am having mine next month.

No drains, my stitches were close and the dissolved fairly quickly about after a week.
I dont have any scars they are not very noticeable but that could be because i am darker skinned. Maybe if you are lighter they will show and also depends on your skin type. ( i will post a picture of my incision)
I do regret not getting my back done. But i am going to the gym and working on it.

Also did you get the upper flank done too or only the bottom

I only got bottom flanks done. They are very hard 6 weeks post op. But i have started to do massages which is helping to not feel so hard.

That is a really good job if he’s only done the bottom flanks. I’m a heavy girl with a few rolls so I was just a little worried

I am now 1 month post op and i am back to work as normal.
I still feel numbness in my lower abdomen and love handles, my surgeon said this is normal. I still get very swollen after working ( i work 12hour shifts) by the end of the day i am a lot more swollen than i was in the morning.
I still feel pain at times but nothing too serious.
My scars have completely gone. I healed very quickly (maybe that is due to my skin, everyone will heal differently). My stitches were dissolved after about 3 weeks.

Are you not wearing a compression garment I’m the same age as you and I’m considering getting this done too

Yea I am still wearing the compression Garment to work and when i go out to do normal stuff. But because i am not fully healed i still get swollen and achy when i get back home.
If i spend the whole day at home i have noticed that i do not get swollen because I haven’t been doing anything.
