I think I had done my research before I choose Dr Ilhan - but truth is - he does not have any before/after pictures on either his websight or on instagram, which I should have seen as the first red flag. He has a special taste on noses. I don't like when noses looks operated on/barbie-like. I like natural nose jobs where you keep the patients characteristics of the nose. I wanted a subtle change - I used to be beautiful before, I didn't had a bad nose before, I just wanted to do some small adjustments - get rid of my hump, make it more straight (pointed a bit towards the right side before) and make it more refined. What I got: my bridge now appears over-reduced, my tip is upturned and round. The nose is much shorter and destroys all my other beautiful features in the face. I used to always get compliments before, even from strangers and I had a great self-esteem. I can't even stand looking myself in the mirror anymore and I wish that someone had warn me about him before. I was naive and relied on the pictures on his instagram, but truth is all you see is what he wants you to see. He post pictures of girls in special angles and light. In Turkey they have special taste, most seem to like when it's a "curve". He can do one type of nose and gives everyone the same type of nose, but it doesn't fit everyone. He sees a nose, not a face. It seems like he gives you a lot of promise and you feel like you can trust him, but he can't live up to it at all. He has very good self-esteem and are very good at convincing. Nothing he says adds up and he doesn't listen to you. He also told me that he never saves his morph pictures for the surgery, and throw them away after consultation, while every other surgeon bring that in the surgery room and try to get as close as possible. What is the point of doing a morph together if the surgeon doesn't follow it? My nose looks nothing like my morph. I'm currently in the process of seeking a revision and have lost a full year of my life. I'm devastated.
