My BBL Experience with Dr Yesiladali and Vanity Clinic

So here is a very honest review about my experience with Vanity clinic and Dr Guray Yesiladali office.
I should point out that Dr Guray Yesiladali was very nice on the three occasions I met him but I’m hugely disappointed with the whole vanity experience and I don’t think BBLs are Dr Guray Yesiladali’s speciality. To summarise the issues were
- poor communicate from Vanity
- Disappointing hotel
- Only 1 faja for the whole procedure
- No option for BBL pillow after I was told I could buy one
- No follow up care advice
- Disappointing results.
I spent roughly a year researching the best place to go for my BBL with my limited amount of savings. I picked Vanity Clinic because, Julia, the person I was talking to seemed to be asking the right questions regarding health and weight etc and requested photos of me (which I have included), which she claimed to have consulted the doctor with.
I was offered a special bargain price for the surgery, transfers and a 4* hotel and asked to give a 300euro deposit. I spent another 4 months researching it and when I went back, Julia requested a 500euro deposit.
I paid the deposit and prepared myself for the surgery. I took my sister with me . When I arrived in Turkey, my transfer driver was nowhere to be seen for 45mins - I called Julia three times to try and find him and eventually my sister went searching for him and found him outside the airport smoking. The transfer took us to the 4* hotel, which in my opinion was far from 4*. The hotel was called Mia Berra and was in the middle of nowhere, in a fairly small room with two single beds.
I got a message from Julia when I arrived at the hotel that I would be picked up for my surgery at 6am. She arrived at 6, took me to the hospital where they took my bloods, and gave me a hospital tag, which had the wrong date of birth on it - I informed the nurses, Julia and Dr Yesiladali but nobody seemed bothered. I was then given breast augmentation documents to sign by Julia, who id been speaking to for 6 months about doing a BBL, and informed it was the wrong document. She brought me the right documents and left. A nurse later brought a pen and just asked me to sign every page without reading it- she actually turned the page of every page mid signature.
I was seen by Dr Yesiladali for the first time, and let him know what I wanted. At this point, for the first time, I was informed that I may be too skinny to achieve my desired results, but as I’d been planning and preparing for 6 months, I said I was going to be content with a nice round bum and the dr left.
Julia brought the card machine for me to pay and changed the Euro value to Turkish Lira and I paid with card (turns out the double exchange rate meant I paid £2500 for €2500 - not Vanity’s fault).
10am, I went for my surgery. When I came out I looked at my butt and couldn’t see any difference. When I saw Dr Yesiladali he explained that he had informed me that I did not have enough fat but showed me a picture which made my butt look much bigger. I was in my faja when I woke up from the surgery and was given a meal that nobody should eat by hospital staff 4hrs later. With respect, I’m going to say it looked like a prison tray of food. Every time I needed water, I was given little 50ml cups (equivalent of 4 tablespoons) and in the end just asked my sister to go buy me food and water.
I spent 2 nights in hospital bleeding and leaking fluid through my faja (no drains were placed in me - i was wearing a top in the picture included but it was completely covered in dry blood). Dr Yesiladali also asked that I keep the same faja on til he saw me 3 days later- not even taking it off for a shower. So I went back to my hotel and lay in bed with a dry blood soaked faja for 4 days in total (imagine the smell - I felt bad for the cleaner!). I had no communication from Julia or anyone else at Vanity and the hotel staff would not let me bring food into the hotel and the hotel food was absolutely terrible - thank God again for my sister sneaking food in for me or I would have starved. Literally ate Burger King everyday.
I was told I’d see Dr Yesiladali on my 5th day and could take my faja off. I took it off and was immediately disappointed with my results. My hips were wider but my butt was just as flat as before - it had not been made round in any way (see pictures attached). I explained to Dr Yesiladali how disappointed with my results I was and he expressed disappointment that I was disappointed. I requested a change of faja offered to buy one and was told the one that I had been leaking fluid in and stunk like gone off meat was the only one I would be given. I was told to go wash the one I was wearing and dry it with the hairdryer in the hotel. I then requested a BBL pillow and was told that it was not needed - there wasn’t even the opportunity to buy one even though my message exchange with Julia had me believing I could purchase one for €25. I was given no post-op care advice.
I was given a transfer back to the hotel then messaged later in the day with details of my transfer to the airport the next day. I did not hear from Julia or Dr Yesiladali again.
Desperate to save as much as I could, I spent two and a half weeks lying on my front in the hope that my back lipo would make my butt look rounder (sat down for takeoff and landing on the plane only) to no avail. I also bought my own BBL pillow to use when I returned to work. Four weeks later and as you can see from my pictures, my butt is exactly the same.
I can honestly say the results are very disappointing. I have wider hips (which are reducing very quickly) and now have a very flat and long butt - which makes it look saggy. I wish I’d researched more and requested more pictures than the 6 I was sent. I’ve had no contact directly with Dr Yesiladali apart from when I had the surgery and Julia only gets me his response when I chased her for it. Julia has told me Dr Yesailadali has said he would do a revision for "up to 50% off", but from this experience and the lack of any direct contact with him, I don't think it is worth the risk. I will spend the next couple of months gradually regaining the weight and find a surgeon to do a revision next year IF they really feel I have enough fat.
Hope this review is helpful and please feel free to message me for extra pictures or any questions you may have. Or if you know a dr who does great revisions.
