Had always wanted perky breast again and so when I could afford it I had it done. I also wanted lipo of entire abdomen and back. The procedure post op first day was hard. Intense pain, dizzy. Next two days were even harder. I am now at beginning of third week and still have open wounds on lower incisions. I ended up having severe allergic reaction to surgical tape which peeled off my skin...ouch. beginning 3rd week still open wounds, pain, migraines, nauseous. This sucks at this point.

Please understand public, that I am not complaining about my doctor, he has been more than thoughtful and concerned about my healing process. I love my new breast I just wish MY BODY would heal the incisions better, that's all.

It's hard so don't feel bad about complaining but remember healing takes time and patience. Sometimes our body doesn't cooperate right away and it's hard to summon up that ounce of patience when we've been waiting so long and we just want to see the end result right away. Just breathe, be patience and give your body all the time it needs to heal for the best end result - it will come!

Thank you for your kind words of encouragement. I am not in my 20's so things aren't going to bounce back like they use to. Haha feel very good today.

Yeah I'm interested in your story and progress because we are almost exactly in the same situation. I'm 47, 2 breastfed kids, 5'6" and 145 :-) but I have very saggy B's at best so thanks for letting me know about your CC's!

Also, how many CC's did you go with? My surgery isn't until October and so I'm still researching the CC's.

Dr. Song put in his smallest gummy bear round implant 300 cc I believe. I already had a good amount natural tissue but didn't want the ski slope look. All my Mammogram techs at my work highly suggested an implant to fill in upper pole region.

Did you try tegaderm? My skin is really sensitive to everything and I've been using that and the scars have healed great.

No never heard of it, they gave me a silicone cream to put on 2X day just not on the open wound part.

I never had before either but it's a clear film you apply over. My doctor put it on right after surgery and I had to keep it on for months, changing it here and there. I bought the 4 in. X 4 3/4 in. and cut it to fit the scars. You can get it on Amazon or at CVS. I was shocked how well my scars turned out. Mine usually get puffy and keloid. It helped the open wound stay clean and dry and heal up. The only part I wasn't suppose to put it was on the connecting incisions underneath so it could drain if needed. I still use it on the scars that are red, my body heals that way but I've noticed a huge difference. You look great, it just takes time to get back to normal. I hope you heal quickly!!

Today 8/25/15 I feel great, actually went on a 2 mile fast walk. Breast still healing up but no pain today. Hoping semi open incisions keep closing up. I am now 22 days post op. Love my bigger perky chest can't wait for final result. I see Dr. Song in 2 months. He did an awesome job!!!

You look great! And they look huge :) Dr Song did a fabulous job with your implants too. Are they under your muscle? My first implants went under and it was a pretty miserable recovery period. Lots of pain and nausea from the pain meds. I had them done by a different doctor. But whatever Dr Song did for my replacement was right on because I forget that I even got them done (except when I look at them all day long hehe) since I had no pain at all.

Did under muscle. Already had size saggy D so with uplift and little implant made big difference. So glad you enjoy your decision on implants. :)

Still slowly healing up my incision

User Avatar
christy1967
My surgery was 8/3 and it is now a couple days past one month. Still healing up my incision on my problem child. ..my left breast and little hole under right. Saw doctor on Friday and they said no infection, just keep ointment on and dressing, change 2X a day. Feeling more patient and reassured now that I understand what is "my normal healing" for this procedure. I love the size and shape and all the weird funny sensations are going away...yeah!! Can't wait for final result.

I am glad to hear you are doing well and healing up better. Your gummy bears look really good.
I have a surgery scheduled with Dr. Song in 2 weeks and even though I really like him, I'm nervous if I made the correct choice.
It's good to hear he has been attentive to you during your healing. Do you have any other advice on him?
