Hey! So give that I've started the ABSN…

Hey!
So given that I've started the ABSN Program it's been tough getting on here to post my updates! I literally have watched an hour of tv since January 25th! Been so busy! I'm excited to say my ALL of attachments are finally on correctly.
The first time I had a scheduled appointment to add them the dental assistant had such a hard time putting them on and tried to blame it on the positioning of my teeth!! I'm not sure why but she ended up breaking through my trays and I have to reschedule another appointment. So I ended up doing that and went to see the Orthodontist the following two weeks so he could do the IPR. That experience left my teeth and gum line slightly sore but it wasn't so bad.
I just didn't appreciate the fact that the Ortho picked up a phone call right when he was working on my teeth, I found it highly unprofessional!! I could completely understand if it was an urgent call and he left the room but he stood there speaking about nonsense to whom ever. And plus I had to return two days afterwards to get my attachments placed on correctly by another dental assistant given that the office had a problem with their compressor. So the water pressure or air was not working properly!
Two days after I returned and had my attachments placed on by another assistant and she was AMAZING! She finished my attachments in less than an hour and she was so gentle! I think I'm just going to continue to request her when I schedule future appointments!

I'm on Tray # 3/42!! This pain is a lot…

I'm on Tray # 3/42!! This pain is a lot worse than the other 2 trays! I was surprised about the amount of pain I've been enduring because I'm one that is used to suffering from other dental work such as Fillings and a root canal. I found that my bottom row is extremely more sensitive, so I'm assuming that this the area that the first few trays are targeting. The photos that I'm posting above are my first week (on the left) and my third week (on the right). I also want to note that after brushing and flossing my teeth 3-5 a day my teeth did get a couple shades whiter! I plan to treat myself to a whitening treatment once I'm done with my treatment ????????

Finally Recieved the TRAYS!

After 3 weeks of the waiting process I finally received a call letting me know that my trays came in! I was so excited to finally start my journey. I took photos of my teeth currently that I will upload soon. Once I could get a hold of my clinicheck video I will post that as well which will be in about a month after my first visit.
The first few days I had these on I felt a great sensation of both pain and pressure. These things were put to work as soon as I got these on. After about the 5th day my mouth started to get use to the trays. I must admit that towards the bottom of both the top and the bottom trays were so sharp that it began to irritate my tongue. So I followed the advice of others and used a clean nail filer and filed them down. This method worked wonders because they are so smooth now.
Also I will be using 42 TRAYS! Which shocked me, because that's essentially 84 weeks almost two years! I just hope that dealing with the pain and the extraneous process of invisalign while starting a 1-year ABSN program won't be too demanding.
