do not need to do surgery for correction

WORTH IT
Hi there all my innie pals!
First of all, I am 27yrs old and was born w/ inverted nipples. Hated it my whole life- so self conscious and embarrassed even with my partner of over 10yrs. Any ways- I have looked into correction surgery for years. This year I decided to schedule an appt. w/ the surgeon- went for the consult and all and told it was going to cost $1,250 for both. I do not have that kind of money to just spend but to fix this embarrassment permenantley for myself to feel "normal"- I was all for it! But I rescheduled twice- 1st time being I didnt have enough funds yet and second time being- I caught the flu. Anyways- PLEASE READ! I have been researching the "Advent Niplette" for years and was a skeptic- finally decided to order it off walmart (online only) last week- went to pick it up when it came in and as soon as i got to my office at work- i put them to test, and WALLA! They WORK! I have one grade 2 inversion and one grade 3. my left side protuded when cold or stimulated- right side NEVER came out! i put the suction things on and it hurt just a tad bit- very tolerable and it popped to heck out! left it on for about 6 hours a day and i finally had nipples! Yes, it bled a little, had yellow liquid filling the suction cups all this weird stuff but thats bc it is never seen the light of day and not used to being drawn out. Anyways long story short- I'd take the suctions off and they would invert back I after an hour or so- BUT... I got itt Thursday- used it for a week @ 6 hours a day- then the following thursday, which was YESTERDAY! I decided to go get them pierced bc i also heard this worked! So i left the suction things on and when i got to the piercing place right before i was going to do them, i took them off and bam- he pierced it while it was still sticking out and today (1 day after) they look freaking BOMB! I could not be happier. and maybe you should tell your piercier that its and inverted one so they place it correctly but i didnt even mention it and he didnt even know, bc thats how good it came out w/ the niplette! I was with a friend so i didnt want her hearing that i had an inverted nipple.- ive just been so embarassed about it all my life. But PLEASE take my advice and save thousands of dollars and save your milk ducts too! if you get surgery they cut the ducts and you CANNOT breastfeed. w/ my simple, affordable and effect method you can STILL breastfeed! The Advent niplette cost me about $35 at walmart online and the nipple piercing cost me $60! and in 27yrs of my life, i have nipples finally!!! This is such a life changing experience for me and brings me the confidence i never had, i had to share with my fellow innies struggling with this as well! I hope you all find a solution wether it be my way or surgical!

I’m so glad this worked for you. I’ve heard of a lot of people that have had success with the Niplette or piercings, or the combination of the two. I hope your post helps somebody. I also hope your post doesn’t set unrealistic expectations for the people that this technique will not work for. I’m 34, I’ve had three children, couldn’t breastfeed at all, and have felt extremely embarrassed my entire life. Only maybe 5 people in my life have seen my nipples, one being my mom and one being my husband. I tried everything. Trust me, if there was something I could try to evert them, it was tried. So if this technique isn’t successful for some people, that’s ok. And it’s ok to choose surgery if that’s the right thing for you to do. I'm happy you’re happy.
Oh definitely not trying to give anyone false hope, but believe me.. I have lived with this my entire life and had 2 children, couldn't breast feed either. Im just saying, try an alternate options that is less costly, might be effective; before going ahead and jumping to surgery, especially if one cannot afford it, and it cuts your milk ducts for no possibility of breast feeding afterwards. I just wish someone told me about these other techniques sooner. And only 1 person seen my nipple before that, my ex of 11 years - not even my parents know. So yes I am more than happy it worked and I just wanted to let others know that there is another option and to never lose hope! Thank you.
