3 weeks post op

Okay now at 3 weeks it has started flattening more, hopefully it will continue doing so. But so far I am happier now than before surgery. Right now I just can’t wait to get my areolas and nipples tattood. I’ve noticed my right nipple is darker than my left which is a bit weird but I think it’ll get better but if it doesn’t that’s fine since I am getting them tattood anyways.

10 days post op

I am now 2 weeks post op however the picture is about 10 days post op. I have gotten some kind of fluid build up in my areola above my nipple (happened maybe 10 days post op) When I saw my plastic surgeon he didn’t know why it formed or what is was. I think it’s lymph fluid that just didn’t have a way of getting out of my system so it filled underneath my areola? This is just a guess because I’ve heard something like that. Anyhow I’m not that worried about it because it’s not an infection it’s just a little painful because of the pressure. I’m not sure if I like my new nipple more than previously because they were different before my surgery but they are still different now. He said it would take about a month for it to flatten and look more like it’ll actually look once it’s healed. But I am happy I did this surgery because I’m pretty sure I couldn’t have gotten my nipples pierced if I didn’t. I had like half a nipple so I doubt a piercer would’ve pierced me. I think my areolas are slightly different colors now though which doesn’t bother me too much because I’m going to get them tattooed in the future because they are uneven and not a “perfect” circle (nipples aren’t perfect circles but they are too uneven for my taste). If you are considering this surgery I’d say go for it if you are doing them both if it’s only one of them, I’m not sure I’d recommend because they’re still very different. Then again I didn’t have a fully inverted nipple so I guess it’s not really the same as for someone with one that’s fully inverted and one that’s “normal”.

Inverted Nipple Surgery

One of my nipples has been slightly inverted it looks like I only had half a nipple so I decided to fix it. About 6 weeks ago I had an areola reduction so we waited until I was healed to do this surgery. I am now 3 days post op, in 2 days on Wednesday I'm going back and my plastic surgeon will remove my bandages. I have been in a lot of pain, way more than my areola reduction that surgery barely hurt. Maybe this one hurts so bad because I wasn't that careful the day after surgery I probably should've been mor careful and laid down but I didn't. I am also not supposed to get my bandages wet because the stitches aren't waterproof but I am a little scared because they did get wet... Oh well I hope it's fine.
