Best Decision Ever - Volume Restoration in Upper Orbital Area - No More "Skeleton Eyes"

Still happy with results. I am adding a photo for those who asked. Top left is before, see the the hollowness and asymmetry. Top right was the next day (a bit swollen) but I did not mind. The bottom photo is now after more than 1 year.

The upper periorbital region of my eyes had hollowed out with age to the point where I almost felt like a skeleton. My right eye was worse than my left. I tried masking this with makeup, but it became more difficult to hide. I did extensive research and decided I wanted to try filler administered by a Board-Certified Oculoplastic Surgeon, which is how I found Dr. Joseph. I went in for a consultation and ended up requesting a same-day procedure. Dr. Joseph was not pushy at all, he explained the risks which actually gave me more confidence to move forward. He used a cannula to fill my upper periorbital regions with Restylane, I believe he used about 0.5ml on my right eye and about half on my left. After the numbing injection I did not feel a thing. Even the numbing injection was not bad. The next day, I was somewhat swollen, but after the second day, the swelling had subsided, and the results set in. The filler restored volume I had lost which reversed the hollow/skeletal appearance of my eyes. The larger amount of filler used on my right eye corrected the asymmetrical hollowing. I had this procedure done about one month ago, I am very happy with my results, and thankful that Dr. Joseph did such an amazing job. I wake up looking more refreshed, I no longer need to spend time experimenting with brightening concealers that were never really effective. Even better, Dr. Joseph estimates the results will last a few years, when it starts to fade, I know where I will return!
