Infini Lutronic for Acne Scarring - WORKS

WORTH IT
I just had my first Infini Lutronic treatment at Cleveland Clinic in the US. It cost $1,100 for one session. My hope was to treat my acne scars. I’m 38 years old and I suffered from acne got decades, more years than not.
The treatment itself hurts really bad. I read that it’s a 4 on a scale of 1-10 but I have a high pain tolerance and I almost cried. I didn’t cry but I had to will myself not to. It feels like someone is aggressively taking a stapler or a hole punch to your face.
After the treatment my face was so swollen and red. More swollen than I expected. It was swollen to the point of not looking like myself for 3 days. My skin was also rough, it felt like leather.
Yes, the downtime is manageable but I would honestly suggest taking a 4 day weekend if you have to go back to work.
The worst part aside from the pain was that my face broke out in a TON of little whiteheads after. I normally do not get much acne anymore. Maybe a pimple occasionally but not like this. It was hard to look at. I think the cause was due to the products that I used after the treatment. The hospital gave me samples of Neutrogena HydroBoost cleaner & gel cream. I figured that’s what they wanted me to use and so I used it. Big mistake as it could be the reason for my breakout. If you know your skin is temperamental like mine..use your tried and true products.
It’s 5 days since my treatment and my acne scars are gone. They are literally...GONE. Of course, I fear my skin is just swollen and they’ll come back. I’ll update again soon.
As painful as it was, I’m going to do it at least one more time this year.

So it's now over a month since your treatment. Are your acne scars really gone, or did they reappear?

Sorry that I did not see your comment before. Now it’s been 3 months since my 1st Infini RF treatment. My acne scars look so much better! After the initial swelling, I assume that’s what it was, you can lightly see where they were again but it’s 1000x better than before. It’s like now they look like large pores instead of being very deep. My skin overall feels A LOT more plump. I never really thought about volume loss in my skin but now when I wash my face it feels so thick and soft and pillowy. My face doesn’t look any chubbier but from the way it feels, it feels like it’s been very plumped up. It’s super noticeable to the touch, so much that there is no way to deny the change to myself when my mind is being skeptical. If this was the only progress that I was going to get, I would still be happy that I had this done. I am going in November 2018 for my second treatment and I hope to do at least one more after that. I’m scared because I know how painful it is and it was extremely painful to me but at the same time I’ve had such great results and I just have to try to see what the full improvement could be based on my doctor’s recommendation of a minimum of two treatments though she recommends 3. It is expensive to me at $1,100 each but the pain of trying to live with acne scars is something that no one can understand unless they’ve lived it,

hello if I have acne marks on my cheeks, and they already did 3 microneedling, now they tell me that it is better to continue with INFINI laser, Derma Filler Voluma or Restylane lyft, my question is which is better option for acne scars I put some photos which you Do you think it is the most recommended? Thank you So in your experience, do you recommend the Infini instead of the other treatments for acne marks?
I will start using Retin-A again (Tretinoin) next Monday. (2 weeks from procedure)
They said I could resume the Retin-A after a week but I think I’ll wait one more because my skin was leathery feeling all last week so I want to make sure it’s good and healed before I apply medicine.
My skin likes the tretinoin a lot. I could never get the salicylic acid to work, too harsh, and I developed and allergy to benzoyl peroxide. The concentration of tretinoin that I use is mild, .05
I used tretinoin for over a year and it does help control my acne and plump my skin but it didn’t do anything for my pitted acne scars.
Also, the Infini Lutronic helps tighten the skin which I also love. I’m 38 so I had some mild softness at the jawline and I already see that’s firmer.
