I had a great experience with my implants and my surgeon last year. So happy I decided to go for it! I decided when I was 24 that I wanted to get implants; I was very flat chested and didn't want to go back on stage to compete in bodybuilding until I had something up top so I could look better proportioned. I decided to have the implants placed underneath the muscle and I am very glad I did. I don't think above the muscle would have worked on my frame or lower body fat percentage. I didn't want to have it LOOK like I had these giant fake boobs so that was my biggest concern going in. Yes it did take a little longer to recover with the subpectoral, and getting back to weight lifting but 5-6 months post surgery I was benching around the same amount of weight I was doing a week before surgery. I have had NO limitations with exercising or stretching so its been great!

It took a little while to adjust to having the implants under the muscle and they move around a bit whenever I flex my chest but relaxed they look perfectly fine. You adjust to them a lot faster than you think. They are by no means bouncy and soft ,but I understand that it may be the muscle that is so tight around the implants. I do wish they were a little bit more loose but they look great with a push up bra. I got the smooth round moderate plus profile gel implants that were 350 cc. I haven't figured out the perfect bra yet, but I know I barely fit in a 32C at the moment. I think a 32D will be a better fit honestly.

Just be prepared to have them look very swollen and inflated for a while. You will look like you are wearing a crazy push up bra for the first couple months, but they will eventually drop down. I made the mistake of doing the surgery going into summer. I thought yay Ill look great in my bikini. But in every tank top and swimsuit I looked a little ridiculous that first month- they looked REALLY big. If I could have changed anything I would have done the surgery in the winter so that by summer they looked closer to normal. So just a heads up!

The pics I have posted are from the night before surgery and then 1 year post surgery exactly. I will try and post pics from a few weeks post surgery if I can find them. Thanks! Hope this helps.

how tall are you? I'm considering dr. Fata. Do you have any indications of the implant going below your natural fold or are they sitting correctly (they look great!)? Just can't make up my mind if I should go for it

Im 5 ft 4 and the implants are sitting really well thanks :) Dr. Fata has been awesome and he gives you a range of implant sizes that will look natural on your frame so that actually helped me a lot, getting to see the different sizes. Tough decisions, I feel ya. Was definitely worth it for me! Good luck!

I concur! Dr. Fata and his staff are awesome! It's been a while since you posted, Skinbelly, so I'm not sure if you went forward with the surgery or not. If not, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend Dr. Fata. He's awesome! Good luck!

Hi. I'm also considering Dr. Fata. I saw you are very satisfied with your new breast. I can see they look very beautiful. When you touch them, do they feel soft? When you lay down on your back, are they soft like real breasts?

As you can see from my before pics I really had no breasts so I don't really know how soft breasts are suppose to be- I have no reference point unfortunately. I had pretty built up pec muscles so it always felt more firm. I guess you could say the implants are kind of soft but they still hold quit a bit of firmness. They dont bounce around a whole lot but for me this is a benefit. If I had had a decent amount of breast tissue before the surgery then Im sure it would be different. I would get a second opinion from someone who had larger breasts before the surgery, as they might be able to answer your question a lot better. Hope this helped though!

Hi Hannah, Dr. Fata is the BEST! I had my surgery done December 12, 2014 (325 cc Mentor, moderate plus, under the muscle. I started out as a 32A-B and am now measuring a 32DDD. It's a little bigger than I was hoping for (I was hoping to be a full C/small D), but they look and feel very natural. Good luck making your decision. If you go with Dr. Fata, I don't think you will be disappointed at all. He and his staff are great!

I almost have no breast tissue (my size is 34 AAA). I visited Dr. Fata last week. I want breasts that look natural and feel natural. I don;t need them to be big, Size B will be perfect for me. Because my frame is narrow. Dr. Fata suggested 225 cc to me. I'm wondering will it be too small? I will visit him one more time before the surgery. You all spoke highly of him. I decide to choose him.

He is very much an artist. He will help you to achieve the look you are seeking. Trust his recommendation. You will not be disappointed. Did you meet Donette yet? She's the best! Good luck!

Thank u. I am 3 weeks in and got 605cc sub muscular and the pain and swelling had been significant.im glad to hear ur honesty it gives me hope. These last 2 days have been my best. I am quite uncomfortable in my left breast. Nerves waking up and swelling still even under my arm towards my back. So glad to hear it gets better xx thank u

Yes it gets so much better! The greatest part for me was when I got to the point where breasts felt normal- like they really were a part of me. The first few days I didn't know how long it was going to take to get used to having them. The only thing that bugged me for a few months was Mondors Cords right under my breasts by the incision point. They were only noticeable when I lifted my arms overhead but they were around a lot longer than I wanted.
