After many years of saving and researching, completed 6 consultations, I decided to go with Dr. Joseph Fata (which was my very first consultation). Mainly due to not finding a single negative review online and final cost. I am schedule to go Wednesday 2/9. I been taking my multivitamins, vitamins C, and stool softener twice daily and I'm looking forward not having to take them. I am 39 years old, 5'3 200lbs muscular build. I have had 2 big babies (10.1 and 11.9 lbs) both cesarean. I have chronic low back pain after the first one 18 years ago via emergency c-section. The 2nd one through the miracle of God came out bigger than the first via planned c-section. I have low back and neck pain, my stomach muscle cramps up just thinking about a sit-up, I cant sneeze without peeing, and I want to be able to wipe my private without having to lift up my FUPA. It's as though all the fat deposit collected below the cesarean scar and now my FUPA is the size of Jupiter. In addition i still look pregnant after 6 years and I overeat because my upper muscle is loose as a goose.Updated on 14 Feb 2022: Being mentally and physically ready really helped with the anxiety of being put under. I checked in at 8am filled out paper works and were sent back fairly quickly. I was able to bring one person back there with me, she was able to stay in the room and use their guest Wi-Fi. Surgery came and went without a hitch. It took about 3.5 hours. The nurses at Carmel ambulatory surgery center were amazing but Stephanie my night nurse was the best! I woke up with a compression binder with zipper on the side. The pain level wasn’t bad by the time I got back in my room the nurse had 2 Percocet ready. Wish I would have known ahead of time but pack your own food or have someone drop it off, the surgery center does not have a kitchen staff so you can’t order food. Stephanie was amazing she brought variety of crackers, jellos, chips and a can of chicken noodle soup and explained/taught me everything I need to know from physical activities to cleaning the drains. The unknown pain makes the experience worse but once your body understands what to do it gets better. The worse part is the breathing exercise to get rid of the general anesthesia in your lungs, it makes you cough and hurts like hell. Catheter came out at 2am and it’s required for you to pee on your own. I was discharge at 8am. The drive home was not painful at all. TT vs Cesarean as far as pain level and overall recovery, cesarean was WAY worse in my opinion. Day 2, i had a bowel movement and every day since. I highly recommend starting stool softener 2x daily 2 weeks before and miralax 2 days before and continue until after taking pain medications. Day 4, starting to feel tingling sensations around the stomach, feet starting to feel numb, and side stitches are stinging. I’m constantly shifting to alleviate numbing sensations. Day 5, period started a week early guess trauma can jump start it so long for planning ??????. Recovery week hasn’t been too challenging. Take it easy, take your pain meds, and walk when you can. Looking forward to tomorrow to remove the drains.
Dr Fata & his staff have been absolutely amazing to work with. I had my consultation in June and my breast augmentation surgery in September. I’m almost 2 weeks post opp and I couldn’t be happier with the results. If you are considering a breast augmentation, Dr Fata is your guy!
After having 3 consultation, I decided to have my tummy tuck performed by Dr. Fata. The nurses/staff at his office were very friendly and extremely polite. Dr. Fata was professional, thorough, and honest on what my expected outcome could be because of my current weight and the amount of fat I had in my mid section. Surgery was pretty easy. I was in surgery for about 5 hours and came out in a lot of pain as expected. Most of the pain came from the liposuction I'm my upper back. Dr. Fata recommended an overnight stay which I HIGHLY recommend and extremely grateful that it was an option. I would have been miserable recovering that first day at home. The nurses at the Carmel Ambulatory Surgery Center were amazing and took great care of me. I was up around 10pm walking around. I went home the next day around 8 and rested at home. I made sure I was up every 2 hours to walk around for 10 minutes and rested as much as I could. I took my pain medication regularly and just let myself heal. Updated on 13 Jul 2021: Updated on 13 Jul 2021: Just some info on myself. I am 39, 5’2, and weighed 194 before surgery. Updated on 29 Jul 2021: Overall I’m healing good. I wear a marble in my belly button to shape it, per doctor orders. I wear my compression garment 20-22 hours a day. I ordered a couple off of Amazon and recently ordered a faja from a website called tribute faja. I also started getting post op lymphatic massages to help with the swelling. I have a bulge above my incision that I’m not too fond of but after reviewing some YouTube reviews of other ladies who had the same swelling, I feel a lot better. Hopefully the swelling will go away over the next 6 months or so. Overall I am still happy with my surgery results and look forward to my final results, which I know will take many many months. Updated on 1 Sep 2021: Update on swelling. Slowly going down. I do wear a faja majority of the day.
Dr. Fata and his staff are wonderful. He is truly an amazing surgeon. He is very down to earth and honest about the results he can achieve. He performed a tummy tuck, with lipo on my back waist area. I like that he prescribes homeopathic and vitamins prior to surgery, to help with recovery, which was not as bad as I anticipated. Hands down would use him again in a heartbeat.
Dr. Fata is a FANTASTIC doctor! I got a breast augmentation around two years ago. I was initially worried my breasts wouldn’t look natural due to me being a 32AA bra size.. but, he did a fantastic job! My breasts look extremely natural!
I'm so glad I chose Dr. Fata. The whole process was so easy. The staff is exceptional. Dr. Fata is courteous and honest. I had ZERO pain. I'm 9 days post op. My results absolutely blew my mind. I started at a 36 A/B, I asked to be a D and I would say that's exactly where I am. We used Mentor 400cc. Updated on 2 Nov 2020: Updated on 8 Nov 2020: Wishing I had gone bigger. I’m not overly upset about it but I do wish I had went for it. Still have some dropping and fluffing to go I hope. Other than that they are healing nicely only downfall so far is a little nipple sensitivity. Updated on 10 Nov 2020: Scar healing perfectly Updated on 3 Dec 2020: Just wanted to put an updated pic up, I’m 4 weeks post op tomorrow and I feel like they look great! 400 cc moderate plus Mentor silicone gel Updated on 3 Dec 2020: Oops I meant to say I’m 6 weeks post op tomorrow! ............................................. Updated on 5 Dec 2020: They look better every single day. They feel like a part of my body now and not foreign at all. I haven’t done a lot of shopping yet just cheap Walmart bras but I’m in a 36 D/DD . I just ordered a few new bras 38D because the band seems a little tight on the 36 will update when they come in the mail. Updated on 6 Dec 2020: Found some before pics
I had my consultation with Dr. Fata on 28May20. I have wanted a larger breast size since I was 12. I am currently 26 and knew this was the right time. He was polite and listened to my wants and needs. He was able to suggest specific sizes of CCs that would look proportional on my frame. He took measurements of my breast and chest while his assistant Mimi was in the room. I am 5 foot and 125 pounds.. I called his office on 29May20 and spoke with the patient coordinator Donette and informed her I wanted to move forward with scheduling my surgery with Dr. Fata! My surgery was set for 05Jun2020 at 11 am.
If you want to be blessed by an angel, go to Dr. Fata. The process was simple and easy. Dr. Fata and his team made me feel safe and secure he entire time. It was like going to family. The day of the surgery, I was calmed by the anesthesiologist and Dr. Fata did a precise and beautiful job. I highly suggest going to him.
Dr. Fata is extremely professional and meticulous with his work. He answers all my questions to my satisfaction and never makes me feel like he is rushed. The entire staff was warm and attentive from my initial consultation especially Donna who guided me through the whole process. I highly recommend Renaissance Plastic Surgery.
I had an excellent experience at Renaissance Plastic Surgery. My rhinoplasty surgery went smoothly, I experienced little to no pain or discomfort post-op. Most importantly, I am so happy with the results. Dr. Fata is truly incredible at what he does. From the initial consultation to post-operative care and beyond, I have been completely satisfied with the care that I have received.
I think that a 265-275 cc implant is a relatively modest choice which would be consistent with your stated goals. I would also suggest that you focus on how natural and proportional you will look and less on cup size because there is so much variability among different manufacturers as to what constitutes a B or C cup size.
I would categorize your breasts as having a constricted lower pole rather than tuberous. In addition to the normal technique of breast augmentation, you will need release of connective tissue fibers which are causing this problem.
No, you do not have tubular (or tuberous) breasts. You actually have a very nice shape, maybe a little on the small size. Breastfeeding should not be a problem based on the appearance of your breasts although some women do have difficulties with it for a variety of reasons.
Breast implant size selection is not as simple as picking how big you want to be. The range of implant sizes that will fit your body are based on several factors using tissue based planning, and among the most important are the height and width of your breasts and the laxity of your skin (how much it will stretch). It appears from your photos that there is not much laxity to your skin and that will be a limiting factor in choosing a size. It is hard to imagine how a 550cc implant would fit properly. Find a board certified plastic surgeon who will use tissue based planning to give you a range of implant sizes that would be appropriate for your body'd dimensions.
You clearly need a breast lift and regardless of the technique used, you will have an "anchor" type scar. You do have a substantial amount of breast tissue so I would recommend a lift alone and breast implants at a later date. This approach will give you more flexibility regarding implant size without your surgeon having to worry about the tightness of the closure of the breast lift. There is also the possibility that you will be happy with your size and shape and will not need implants.
