I've been wanting a breast augmentation for years...

I've been wanting a breast augmentation for years and am so excited to finally get it done soon!!! I chose Dr. Fata after going to one other consultation with a female doctor whom had little experience and was semi unprofessional. My initial consultation was scheduled during the Summer of 2017. I really wanted to get them done over the summer but I was 21, and didn't qualify for the warranty. Ultimately, I chose Dr. Fata because he was reputable, had years of experience, and cared to advise me about postponing my surgery date because he thought it was worth waiting to qualify for the warranty.
Honestly, the consultation is a bit of a blur now, but from what I can remember, Dr. Fata measured the nipple to bottom and nipple to side of my breasts, and then used some instrument to squeeze my breast tissue. After that he went over the risks that are associated with getting a breast augmentation, and had me try on some sizers. I told him I wanted a full B or small C, and he recommended either 250ccs or 275ccs. After trying on both sizes I went with the 275ccs. I had my pre-op appointment on February 20, 2018.
The pre-op appointment was really brief...and I was disappointed. I felt like he should have told me more about my surgery and went over the measurement of my boobs with me again since it had been 6 months since the consultation, but all he did was pull out the chart he had filled in from summer and confirmed the 275ccs that I chose. He signed me off for some prescriptions then gave me a booklet of what to expect after the surgery. I guess that's why he didn't say too much about the surgery, but I just felt like I didn't have much reassurance about the process of the procedure. Maybe I'm just being dramatic? During my pre-op, I also voiced my concern about the size because I feel like my boobs are asymmetrical, but Dr. Fata did not want to change the size and his patient care coordinator, Donette, said all my measurements were the same for both boobs. He was also firm on 275ccs as being the largest size that he could put in which I thought was strange because I feel like I've seen girls with less boobage than me getting bigger sizes. I left my appointment feeling uncertain and unhappy. It took me about a week later to feel better about my decision to trust Dr. Fata. I officially have the surgery paid for. I've seen some really great results from him so I'm just hoping that he's right about my measurements and implant sizes.

A week till surgery!

I've been really nervous about surgery because I've been having some breast pain lately. This pain started in December and I had it looked at at the beginning of February. My doctor told me it was probably just some hormonal changes in my body that was causing breast pain, but I don't really feel like that's what's happening... The pain feels like I'm having heartburn in my boob. It's really sharp and then starts to burn and itch. I've had physical breast exams done and the results have been completely normal. I've gone to two doctors and both refuse to refer me for a mammogram. I'm just nervous that something is wrong with my breast internally, and my surgery is a week away now, and my fiancé has work requested off already, and I have a week off as well so it would be really inconvenient to move the date. I have also had a chest x-ray done and nothing showed on that. I tried to call my doctor to get a referral for an ultrasound but she didn't return my phone call. I sound kind like a hypochondriac but I've just never had these pains before, and I just want to make sure it's nothing bad...
Anyhow, here are my stats:
Bra Size: 34A
Height: 5'0
Weight: 108-110
Implants: 275cc, Mentor MemoryGel, Moderate Plus Profile

Wishing you luck on your surgery. I had mine on Feb 21st, it was much easier recovery than I anticipated. I’m 5”2, 125, athletic frame. I have the same implants & profile that you are getting. It took me from a 34A to 34C. Don’t go for the 250’s, you lose a good amount of projection once they are placed under the muscle. I’m having a bi of booby greed and thinking maybe I should have gone bigger, but I was firm on not wanting an augmented look.

Thanks for sharing!! I hope I get the same size as you and that I don’t have boob greed because ultimately I just wanted to be able to wear pretty strapped tops and dressy for the summer without looking like a wall or feeling like I had to wear a bra with everything.

yes, tops and dresses and having a balanced physique was my goal. I contemplated going up, but my Dr though that anything more wold be too large for my frame and I’d look augmented. Keep us posted. Don’t be nervous. You will do great!

For some reason, all my photos were removed so I'm having to re-add them back into my review. Sorry for the weird glitch! I hope it still shows up on my review for people to see.

Good luck! One thing I read on someone’s profile that helped me & I thought I’d share...put your meds in ziplock bags & label them, you won’t be able to open those bottles.
