Retin a I have/am using
I have been using the 0.05% for around 1 year. This week I am starting on 0.1% gel. I used it last night and my skin did look particularly good today so I am hoping for some good results.
I have commented on other real self members...
I have commented on other real self members reviews about retin a and decided to do my own. I have been using it regularly for over 1 year. One question I am seeing a lot is "what to buy" and "where to buy".
So I started of buying mine from a seller online based in UK and I found the website on a forum with many happy buyers.
I purchased the cream "TRETINOIN CREAM U.S.P Retino A 0.025% and also 0.5%.
Made in India by johnson&johnson / Janssen
I started of on the lower strength I wash face leave to dry at least 1/2 hour then apply small amount of retin a I have always needed more than the recommended pea sized amount but not much more. I had a bit of soreness mainly at sides of mouth but my skin adapted so fast I soon went up to 0.5%. My skin seems to like it but I do get pin prick spots on nose/forehead. I have just started putting ponds dry skin cream ontop of the retin a which seems to stop this!
Does anyone else get these spots? I haven't noticed a major difference but my skin is definitely not ageing! I think I now need to use the 1% which I can only find for sale in gel form. Can anyone tell me what this is like?
