Always wanted bump remover from bridge and I...

Lisakitt

Always wanted bump remover from bridge and I always has a droppy tip. I had the surgery done 10 weeks ago and after the first week I was given a steroid shot to helpwith the tip swelling then at three week check up I also had another injection to help with tip swelling and at my eight week checkup I also had two injections after that my nose tip swelled more and uneven and now the doctor thinks there's inflammation from maybe hitting a nerve or a blood vessel in my nose is this normal should I get a second opinion he wants to go back in and do more surgery to clean out the inflamation

Are these post op pictures? Well...go with your gut feeling. I did in a year if my nose doesn't look good I'm having a revision with the same surgeon. This is a personal opinion. Best of luck to you.

I don't think this is normal.... I would recommend posting these photos to the questions page so other plastic surgeons can give a medical opinion. I'm so sorry youre going through this!

You should seek anther surgeon's opinion. Also if you post this as a question with photos, the surgeons will give you their opinions. All the best.

Since my last post I did talk to my surgeon and he agrees it isn't healing he believes it's a suture causing Inflamation and is doing another open thinoplasty to look around and take out what is causing this. And at no cost to me. He really is a great surgeon and great bedside manor. I will let you know how it goes I'm having it done 2/23

that is not a stitch causing your issues . You have deficient cartilage in upper nose and to much in the lower part . You need a full revision rhinoplasty please get a second opinion .

Thank you for your input but I was lucky it was just a suture causing Inflamation he removed it and put a dissolvable one inplace. Today the splint came off and the bump is gone im just still really swollen. Thanks again

Well today was my surgery. And it was a suture causing Inflamation the doctor also added a small graph to the right side of my nose and improved the tip. Not sure exactly what he did because I was still out of it lol. I will know more next week when I see him also I did not have a poly beak thank god!! I can't wait to see results. I will up date next week. Also my doctor is double board certified as an ent and facial plastic surgery reconstruction. So I knew I was in good hands. And all of this was at no charge he said he promises me a beautiful noae and he wasn't satisfied and he also said it would be unethical to charge me.
