I had breast reduction & tummy tuck in Oct 2014. Now that pretty much all of the swelling is gone I am not liking my results. I brought up issues of concern as early as my 1 month po visit & was told you are still healing & to wait for 3 more months & I should start seeing a change. Was told at 3 month visit to wait til 6 months & my 6 month visit was in April & I was then told to wait til my 1 year visit. I get a feeling she is not big on doing revisions.

Before/Afters & a note from my surgeon

I received in the mail some of my before pictures & afters which were taken at my last visit on 5/27/15. My interpretation of the letter is that she doesn't want to do a revision, although she did agree that improvements could be made to the lower abdomen & mons area if my ct scan did confirm, which it did, that I do have a hernia & muscle separation. She agreed that she could revise these areas at the same time as the hernia is being repaired. This was communicated to me with my husband at our last po visit. She wrote in the end of her letter for me to take these to the other surgeons I saw. I chose to have a 2nd opinion from 2 diff drs after my 6 month po appt when I asked her about the bulge near my belly button & her reply to me was "Thats your old umbilicus" although she never examined me nor does she have it in her ofc notes that I even mentioned it. I then waited for approx 2 wks after, along with getting my operative report & notes from the surgery ctr, that I decided to have a 2nd opinion due to tenderness & pain in that area. I also learned, from the op rept, that yes, she did remove 8 lbs of skin (the lower pannus/apron) but only 1/2lb of fat was removed from either flank area not to mention nothing indicating she repaired the muscle & when I ? her about this at our visit on 5/27 her reply was "maybe you didnt need it" Mine & my husbands opinion thought, from her saying "maybe" tells us she didnt know for sure when in fact the ct scan showed I do have mild diasteses of the abdominal musculature (just under 4 cm to be exact) Both 2nd opinion drs ? If
the bulge was a hernia which was confirmed recently thru ultrasound & ct scan. I also wanted another ps to confirm or deny if the results that were achieved were normal or not vs me having unrealistic expectations. In my opinion & others my current dr did little to no conturing although I am not negating that there is a definite improvement. My insurance covered/paid for the breast reduction & as you can clearly see in these photos my right side is significantly bigger & lower than my left. All I know is I want this fixed & want to be smoother under my clothes. I paid, in my opinion, alot of money & I worked hard to lose the weight & I expected to have better results than what I have. I dont really know what to do at this point. What I also find ironic is that fact that she copied & wrote this letter before even getting the results of my CT scan that SHE ordered. The reason I know this is because her assistant called me on Tuesday 6/2 letting me know my photos were ready & she was putting them in the mail today. I asked if she got the CT results & I was told "not yet" & faxed the radiology rept for the dr to review. I had gotten the results from my PCP on Monday 6/1. Any comments or suggestions at this point is much appreciated.

After Pictures

Here are a couple of after pics the dr took on 5/27/15 that didnt upload to my update written earlier today. I will add befores in the next update.
