Hello my fellow RS'ers!! I am almost 10 months post-op & I wish I could say that things are better but, I can't...:) I mailed my surgeon a letter along with some of the pictures I posted in my last update & have an appt with her on Monday 7/27. I am hopeful that this visit goes better than the last 1 did. She was supposed to send me an "action plan" from my last visit in May & I have yet to hear from her which is why I sent a letter & it was received in their ofc on 7/16 cuz I sent it registered mail. This gives her 11 days to come up with this "action plan" . I will update next wk after my appt. Wish me luck!!

Here is her note to me that was attached with my before/after pics. Not sure how to interpret this & don't want to read between the lines. Any thoughts or opinions from my fellow real selfers is much appreciated...:)

What does she mean by - there's not more that I could have done in a single surgery? Did she ever say you would need other surgeries to get the result you wanted? If she only took a 1/2lb of fat with the lipo, it's no wonder your results are what was expected! That doesn't make sense to take such a small amount. I hope she will do the revision when you get the hernia taken care of. Good luck.

I would be seeking the opinions of other surgeons, and make sure you have your before pics also. I'm not sure what she means by saying she couldn't have accomplished more with one surgery, what?

She sssumed I didnt show the other 2 drs my before pics that I had taken. The 2nd dr I found on here I did email him before & after pics before even setting up the consultation. I dont understand what her issue is & why she is so defensive.. I felt this lil note was very unprofessional of her & not sure if I should call the office or send her a letter so I have a paper trail of our conversations.

Do the paper trail! Many docs have email too, or send certified so she can't claim she didn't get it.

Wow, is she serious? It sounds like it. She didn't recommend the reverse tummy tuck? That is what I am having so they can maximize the results.

I hate posting these. I had alot of extra skin & fat after my 75 lb weight loss. I had hit a plateau with the weight loss at the time of my consult & was 16 lbs short of reaching my goal weight. Like I said in my update review earlier, there is DEF an improvement but, I think it could have been btr had she done some contouring & lipo which is usually necessary espec with people who have lost a significant amount of weight.

I'm So sorry to hear your story... Of course there's an improvement... But you are right it could be better... And that is what you paid for... As soon as I seen your pics (before reading) I thought... Her muscles are completely separated.... I can only imagine your frustrations... I hope you get answers soon...
