I have been researching this procedure for a while...

I have been researching this procedure for a while now, and I can't believe my surgery date is coming up so soon. I am feeling pretty relaxed but anxious at the same time! At this point all I can envision is myself finally being able to wear a bikini and yoga pants. I am excited for my pants to actually fit right!!
Thanks to Real Self, I found my doctor. He is very personable and seemed to be very knowledgable about this procedure. He tells me that using vaser liposuction instead of traditional liposuction is what sets him apart from other doctors who perform this procedure. I am 5 ft 4 and about 130 pounds (still trying to gain weight). He estimates taking out about 400 cc's in each cheek. I hope that will be enough! Are there any ladies out here with a similar frame that has gotten injected 400 cc's? Are you satisfied with your results?

Sigh…in exactly one week, I will be in surgery....
Sigh…in exactly one week, I will be in surgery. Unreal! I am debating on whether or not I should stay at the hospital over night or save my $250 and just go home. I heard that the recovery period may be shorter because my PS will be using the vaser liposuction (less intrusive and uses sound waves to break up fat and liquify it). If you girls had a choice, would you stay the night at the hospital? I guess it would be nice to have nurses take care of me and give me stronger medication if needed. Also, I am making a list of the things I will need before/after surgery and of course during my recovery time. Have you gals made a list yet?
My list (from what I can remember on the top of my head):
Healthy foods/lots of liquids
donut pillow
medications
antibacterial wipes/soap
P EZ female urinal
I spoke to a girl who went to the same PS as I am going to and she told me her recovery period was easy and did not need many supplies other than her garment.

Thank you, thank you! I am one week away from the big surgery day. I am surprisingly calm, I am so excited to see my results! I welcome any advice you may have for me!!

Hi what doc did you go with I also live in Chicago and didn't find a good doc but dr stein but I was more comfortable going with dr salama so be there in nov I really wanna see ur before n after pics thanks

hey, according to some research that I have done, there can be some absorbtion of the fat cells so you might want to get a bit more than the 400 cc/ cheek. For weight gaining, try whey protein three times a day, one scoop in an eight ounce glass of water or milk.

Thanks for the advice!! I told the Dr. I understood that I probably won't be able to get the size that I truly hope for because of my weight. However, I know it will be at least something, but trust me, I am hoping he'll find some hidden fat somewhere and end up giving me more than 400cc's! I am trying to gain more weight but now I am getting tired of eating lol. I will try the whey protein!

Hey purpleblue21 I live here in IL and i'm scheduled to go in for surgery next month do you have any advice for me. if you don't mind sharing which doctor did you find that you are comfortable with.

3 more days until my big day!! Today, I am busy...
3 more days until my big day!! Today, I am busy doing all the little things to prepare for the big day! I packed my bag with extra cozy clothing, crackers, water, socks, and misc things. I am trying to clean the whole house and tackle all the laundry that needs to be done. I also started practicing sitting on my thighs and laying on my stomach. This is the only thing I am not looking forward to. I hope the recovery period goes by fast!!

Not to discourage you my dear but am three weeks two days out I had 600 cc and they have shrink Down about quit a bit but again if u are tiny it will give u some improvement you won't see big booty but you will see a difference I was trying my jeans yesterday and they fit much better much thighter fro

Thanks for your prayers! Surgery was successful and I was only able to get 380's. However, I am very happy and I think it fits me well! I wanted something very natural and finally be proportional so now I am much more content with how my body looks. I am hoping it doesn't shrink much. I like the size that I am now. :/ The good news is that he did such a great job contouring me that I have really great projection! I love my doctor's work! How are you feeling at 3 weeks? The first 2 days was horrible for me!! The swelling is already going down and I am hoping these bruises will diminish fast.
