My motivation for getting rid of my chin's fat...

$2,100
My motivation for getting rid of my chin's fat pouch is our wedding day in the summer. I want to have a nice profile for the big day and beyond. This is my first treatment and I'm expected to return in 6 weeks for the following one. The prep for the procedure was easy and simple. The process of injection was super quick but the burning sensation from the injection was overwhelming but I'm glad it went away within 10 minutes. I'm swollen and bruised already but the pain is minimal. I feel a little stiff but I'm applying ice every hour for 20 minutes with arnica gel to help. No pain killers needed so far!

Was your procedure $2100 for the first round??

I prepaid for the second round. So this price is for 2 treatments :)

I am 27 year old female, started Kybella when 25 years old. My original (and final) size of chin's fat was slightly smaller than yours. I spend $2450 on FOUR sessions. No results. I think you have set yourself for disappointment by choosing this procedure. The 'nice profile' you've mentioned (the one that I really want too), will likely require chin fat removal, part of which can be sagging tissue and muscle (of course will also need to be removed), I will also get a consult for jaw and chin implant.
It looks like you prepaid for the whole package. $2100 includes how many sessions of Kybella?

Hey!!! I'm sorry your experience and results weren't what you were hoping for :( I've paid for two treatments (2 syringes per treatment). I hope the results are what I'm looking for but if not it's a risk I've taken lol I hope your consultations get you the answers you want :)

2 syringes (one vial) per treatments is $600 here in Dallas. I had four.
It looks you are paying $1050 per session with two syringes. You either live in very hign end place or being taken advantage of.

Each syringe was one vial for me. I watched her fill it up :) the average is $900 per treatment and I didn't want to go for the price. I shopped around for quality and the way I felt about the staff :)

I live in a very small city in the south (is NOT a "high end" place") and $2100 for 4 vials is right on target, or even a little less expensive, compared to what's being charged everywhere I checked. :-)

She wrote she's doing Kybella to look good for her upcoming wedding. I just recently joined the website, I guess discussions occasionally deviate from discussions of cosmetic procedures

At just over a week post-op, how is recovery going? I'd love to see updated pictures, if you're comfortable sharing!

Hey!!! I posted a picture of day 7 which was yesterday :) recovery is easy, no pain or discomfort. Just have to be conscious of covering my neck because of the bruise on my neck

When did you start noticing a difference post first treatment? I just had one of two recommended rounds of treatment and am four days post procedure. Wondering if I will see a difference after the first treatment or if I will need to wait until after the second to really see a difference. Also, did you experience the "turkey wobble" feel? Thanks! :)

Hey!!! I'm still 8 days out from first treatment! I'm still waiting for the swelling to go down :) and the turkey wobble is definitely real haha! Not fun

I'm amazed by how easy it's been. I went to work less than 24 hours after the procedures. Just wore a scarf. I have bruising and swelling but no pain. I'm looking forward to a decrease in the swelling and for the bruising to go away :)

Nothing yet! It'll take a few more weeks. My swelling hasn't even gone down to pre-treatment lol patience is truly a virtue when doing this

Just the swelling going down. I'm not back to baseline yet. Once I get passed that point, I'll post more pics to show progress hopefully

Just wondering if you are happy with your treatment ?

How expensive over all? You are beautiful and IMHO don't think you needed it. But, if you feel better then that's the goal.

My best friend gave a name to my swollen chin: Chuck hahaha. Besides the bruise and the turkey chin named Chuck, I feel great... no pain or discomfort Unless i touch the area :) I'm going to update on a weekly basis from now on :)
