I had a baby 7/25/2014... August 2015 an Ideal Image commercial aired and I was HOOKED... I made an appointment immediately. When I went in we discussed what areas I would treat... Upper abdomen and inner thighs. Paid for the procedure and went in a few days later to start. That day the tech said I probably didn't have enough "fat" on my stomach to have it done... Another woman came in and she told her just to put the machine "over my belly button"... A couple of hours we were done... I left... Life went on... 1st month no change... 2nd month no change... 3rd month... You guessed it no change at all. To make matters worse I'm almost positive it made this area more "puffy"... I didn't go to my 3 month appointment one because I was mad... Secondly I was embarrassed. I hadn't gained or lost any weight... I should have at least showed so that the after picture could have been taken and I could have disputed this... Lesson learned... I should have saved myself $1700.

Looking at the pictures, I have to agree, you didn't have fat on your stomach to start with, so there was nothing to loose, they just minted the money over you. Sorry to have a dent on your bank a/c for $1700

Thank you... How depressing. That's a lot of money for nothing...

If the tech said you didn't have enough fat on your stomach to have it done, did you have it done on your abs anyways, or just your thighs?

The tech went and brought in another woman and she said I had enough fat but we would have to put the suction over my belly button to make it attach. It JUST made it... I had my thighs done as well. I am about the same weight... Maybe a little lighter and my thighs are the same exact size. My stomach was flat... AND now I have pudge on my stomach too. I paid to be chubbier.

I got rid of that same micro pooch with a ketogenic diet and taking supps to combat Xenoestrogen issues along w progesterone. To me it's more of a skin laxity issue than anything because when you bend over to do sit ups and stuff your skin fla to me it's more of a skin laxity issue than anything because when you bend over to do sit ups and stuff your skin flabs out. I'd try a more holistic approach and wait until some of the newer skin tightening machines come out. From somebody who knows Coolsculpting very well, absolutely correct on the assessment that this is not a procedure for your issue

I already did it and now I'm worse off... What kind of supplements did you take may I ask... I agree... It seems like the skin is more loose now

Sorry to be off the subject but your tattoos look really nice. ;-)

Thank you!!

I'm surprised. I felt that they were very honesty with me while i was there and declined to do certain areas bc of lack of fat. They also said they NEVER place the machine over the belly button. I would call corporate.

The first lady was reluctant... She went and got another tech to see if it was ok and she said it would be fine. I feel like an idiot for not leaving my stomach alone. It looks way worse. Should I call Ideal Image corporate ... Or corporate Zentique (the makers of the machine I think)... I'm also nervous that since I didn't return for my follow up appointment that they wouldn't take my claim into consideration but I can go to my regular doctor and have my records pulled. I'm thinner now then I was last year...

I would call both. It won't hurt. And tell them that someone else stated that their technician was adamant that it machine not be placed across your naval. They are supposed to be trained in this technique and that isn't okay. And so what, you didn't show up after you felt they mislead you and went against technique. If you are not happy they should know and that tech shouldn't be allowed to mess up another patient.

Good point... I will definitely reach out to both.... I almost feel bad because I don't want to get anyone in trouble but at the same time... I'm worse off then I started AND out of $1700

Tried to get policy...

So I have emailed Ideal Image multiple times asking for the contract I originally signed and got nothing SO I tried to contact them as a "new customer" and this was the conversation we had. They won't say anything through email. When I didn't agree to a consultation she stopped replying. I have had multiple plastic surgeons do consultations and or answer questions via email. Should I just go there?

Is just stop by and ask for a coy of your contract, they actually have to give you one. 25% is a pretty big claim for many people. Did they measure your BMI before the treatment?
June 20, 2016
No. They showed me some pictures and then she told me to lift my shirt and she pinched my stomach saying "yes you are a great canidate"... I feel beyond silly. I'm usually really good about things like these.
June 20, 2016
Oh jeez, well I think you got them, save that email unless they took a measuring of your BMI they don't have an original baseline so how could they be telling individuals they will loose 25% of their body fat. You have nothing to feel silly about. They are the ones that should feel silly.
June 21, 2016
That's not what they tell you.

They say 25% of the fat cells will be treated.
No one even measures BMI because it's not for weight loss.
