So I had to have a revision surgery at the end of March because I had too much scar tissue which kept my implants from dropping.
They're dropped and I'm really happy with the left one. The right boob is still a little high so I've been giving that one some extra massage exercises.
I'm hoping the right implant will fall into the place I want it to be soon.
In the meantime, I love the separation between my boobs because my first surgery made them way too close together.

One month post-revision surgery

I'm happy with the results so far. Finally my boobs look normal and not high. The implants will continue to drop a little and my breasts will soften as I do my regular daily stretches.

Capsular contracture and revision surgery
atlbooApril 2, 2019
I had been concerned for months about my implants not dropping. While they we getting soft, the height remained the same despite all of the massaging. So my PS recommended at our 6 month post-surgery check-up, that I get revision surgery to remove scar tissue he could feel at the bottom of my breasts. He assured me that the removal would let my implants drop immediately.
So I had the surgery last week and it went well! I'm really happy. I had a 3 out of 4 level of capsular contracture unfortunately and my PS ended up replacing my Ideal implants for a set of new ones (covered 100% by the warranty!). He said it was best practice to replace in case there was too much bacteria around the implant. Apparently women of Asian descent are more at risk of developing scar tissue (any cuts I have take YEARS to heal) so I wasn't surprised I had scar tissue despite me massaging regularly as instructed. Oh well.
My implants have dropped and I now have the natural look I wanted all along! The tops of my breasts are softer too and will continue to round out overall. I'll post a picture as soon as my drains are out this week.

Thank you for posting this! Are you still happy with your results after having second surgery? Were they able to use original incision? I got ideal implants just over a year ago. My right breast dropped into place, however my left has never settled the same. I have been to every follow up and told to keep doing my stretches and I absolutely have. After a year I’m losing hope! So happy to hear your revision surgery went well! Your post has been very helpful.

Hi! Yes I am very happy with the results. My implants are dropped in the right place and my breasts look normal again. My PS used the original incision but the scar is worse this time. But I'm ok because it was expected and a small price to pay for the result I wanted. I have started using the scar strips that help healing.
Obviously I am not a medical professional but in my opinion, I think you should seek a second surgeon for feedback. My PS was clear that my implants were not dropping due to scar tissue. There was no way in his mind that after 6 months they would drop any further (also because there had been very little progress to begin with). Because my PS did not charge me any money for this revision, and I didn't even have to ask for the revision, I believe he's an honest and reputable doctor. He essentially lost money by doing my revision because he could have used that time to perform a new surgery on someone else. So I really admire and commend him for recognizing that I had a situation where extra time would not help my implants drop.
I would say trust your instincts and if you feel that your left one won't drop any further despite all of our stretching, you are probably right. You should ask your PS about revision surgery.
Also, I was told that I had a high amount of scar tissue when my doctor cut me open to do my revision. On a scale of -1-4, I was a 3! And interestingly I didn't really feel that my breasts had scar tissue formed!
Anyway, I hope this helps! I will be posting a picture this week so you can see what they look like. Also please feel to DM me if you have any further questions! Happy to provide any support you may need.
