Maybe someone here can help me understand this better...Lol! My surgery is scheduled for the 15th, Yay! I'm looking over the implant warranty and I'm so confused! I posted a picture that I took with my phone. In paragraph 3 it says, "have access to lifetime product replacement, 10 years of coverage." Since when is a lifetime only equivalent to 10 years? Am I understand this right?

I believe it's referring to the implants lifetime which is only 10 years. ;)

They are referring to the implant. Most doctors recommend you gave them redone every 10 years

I'm scheduled Feb 7. I'm so excited. Kinda nervous about the pain. But I had a baby c section. And have plenty of tattoos. Lol. I hope I do okay w it. How r u feeling? And how was the day of? My biggest worry is the day of. :)

I had my last baby c section also, which was a year ago next month. I promise you, the c section was way worse then this. At least it was for me! The first day post op, I stayed on schedule with the pain meds and ice. It really wasn't too bad as long as I did that! Elevating myself at night to sleep wasn't that much fun tho. I ended up sleeping in our overstuffed chair in the living room. The second day was a little bit better. I didn't need my pain meds anymore after that! I haven't needed to take anything for pain since in fact! I really am a baby when it comes to pain, so I'm surprised this hasn't bothered me more! You will do great! It's a wonder how much we can tolerate when we are put through the test. You will take one look at your boobs post op and think, yeah... this pain is nothing when you get to enjoy nice boobs for the rest of your life! lol

That's one thing I need to get is some ice packs. I need to make a need to get boobie list. :) lol. My C-Section was so hard on me. I still remember the pain. I was a big baby before hand, now not so much. I have toughed out a lot of things. I'll keep up w my pain meds for sure. But I don't want to b on em to long. :) thanks for all ur wonderful information. It truly helps.

You are welcome! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask! As far as ice packs..I just bought frozen peas and put them in ziplock bags, to doubly secure them. They can be frozen, thawed, refrozen, and tossed when your finished with them at a fraction of the cost. Also, I don't know why this is, but most everyone I've talked to post op has mentioned their back hurting, and I have to agree. All those uncomfy positions you will have to sleep in the first few nights and the tweeking of nerves post op makes your back ache. Get yourself a heating pad. Although you don't want it on your boobs, it feels great on your back...especially when you have frozen peas on your boobs and the chills from post surgery anesthesia. Hope that helps!

New Boobs!!

I would love to be able to help others who are considering breast augmentation! I know it's extremely hard to find pictures of women who are tall with my body build who have undergone a BA. I hope this helps give an idea of how they will look on someone else! I am 5'11, 155. This is my second BA. I chose to have a revision because my first set of 390cc saline implants had a rupture on the right, and was starting to deflate! Pre-op (without any implants) I started out as a 34A. After my first BA, 390cc Saline sub-muscular, I was a 34C. After my revision last week, I did an implant exchange to 800cc Silicone under the muscle, and they look FABULOUS!!! I haven't been sized yet, but I look to be around a 34DD!

We are almost identical in size & weight. I wish I would've gone bigger. I got 485 Sientra silicone mod profile.

What surgeon did you use? Did you ever get an update on final size? Any thoughts in hindsight? I’m 6’ and 150lb range, but I am trying to decide between 800-1200 range implants as a starting point before consultations to see surgeons who do well with larger implants. I want to go from my natural 34c/d to possibly an E-G cup sine my height and frame may carry a larger size better. If possible can you message me about your experience. Thank you! Great results from the look of the photo!!
