I suffered from acne in my teens which had left my skin dark all over. Just before my wedding (2yrs ago) i had an ICP peel which claims to depigment the skin and claims that it is safe for all skin types. But it left my skin in black patches and i looked terrible on my wedding! Thereafter i used many skin lightening creams to get rid of the hyperpigmentation. 2 years on i am still suffering from the effects around my eye area and mouth area but the rest of the face has cleared up. It was a total waste of money and has ruined my face, confidence & my life. I think it damaged my eye area for permanent. Now i look terrible!

She should have tested it first on my arm to see if there would be any effects. Secondly i learnt later that it should not have been done around the eye area. I would not call her a professional!
