I am writing this review on the 20th day after the procedure. My requirements for the procedure were the following:
-to augment the bridge and achieve a more balanced appearance that looked great in photos
-to slightly decrease the width of my ala
-to increase the tip appropriate to the height of the bridge

Note: I also had upper blepharoplasty alongside my rhinoplasty.

As of today (Day 20), all three of my requirements above have been achieved and I am pleased with the results of the bridge, tip, and ala.

Updates:
Scarring - right side ala is healing better than my left. There are very deep scars on my left ala where the stitches had been removed. Right ala scars are flattening with "tracks" from stitches still slightly visible. Scars on nostril rims and columella are beginning to flatten but are still pinkish.
I am a bit concerned about the hanging growth in my left nostril that looks like a big piece of booger; the doctor says that this is cartilage and will flatten in time. I really hope it does!

I chose Dr. Eric Yapjuangco based on photos from his Instragram account and reviews from patients. If rhinoplasty were to be considered an art, Dr. Eric is an excellent artist based on these points: 1) His patients' before-and-after photos demonstrated restraint, subtlety, and balance. He never went over the top with his designs. 2) He made sure to tell me that results will appear realistic and will not have that "Michael Jackson" look. 3) He encouraged me to gather photos of the nose that I wanted to achieve which he will use as his guide. When I revealed to him my celebrity "peg," he responded by saying "we can achieve something like that" -- expectations were neither set too high nor too low, which I appreciate. 4) He is the only doctor I know who responds to text messages! I even receive responses to my simple questions -- very accessible! 5) Prior to surgery, the anesthesiologist came over to brief me on the procedure and was very helpful with answering some of my questions. 6) The nurses who assisted with pre-surgery sterilization were very nice and music was playing in the operating room. Areas of opportunity: While his clinic and office are beautiful (excellent interior design), staff are courteous and friendly, and the after-care support is great, his wait-times are absolutely horrible! I had to wait up to 4 hours at one point for a check-up! I understand that he is one of the more popular surgeons in the country and that many people line up to get him but his clinic needs to start using an appointment system. Currently, patients are served on a first-come-first-served basis and I am told to return for a check-up on a certain day at whatever time. This system won't work for people who live out of town and take hours to drive to his clinic, or to those who have to be at work. There are tons of appointment software that can make repeat visits and consultations a lot smoother.
