I Didn’t Have a Good Experience
UPDATED FROM fariba72
My visit with dr. Payman kosari
I am willing to update this review if the doctor’s office does something to make it up to me. Also, My procedure was not a hydrafacial. I went to see the doctor for skin redness. There was no option for this when you complete the review and it is required field so I had to choose something from the available options.

I Didn’t Have a Good Experience
Hi,
I went to see dr. Kosari for some redness I have had on my face for sometime. He told me I have melasma and put in a prescription at skin medicinals, which I got and paid $90 for. I was researching the ingredients of the cream one day and read that hydroquinone can cause skin cancer. During the visit, dr. Kosari told me to try the cream first and then after that we could try other things like chemical peels, laser, etc. I am upset that why he started me with a medicine that can cause cancer or destroy or stop melanin production while chemical peel is a more affordable option? I ended up not using the cream but skin medicinals did not take it back and so I wasted $90!! That’s a lot of money for me as I work for a non profit.. this upset me a lot because it feels as if doctors don’t care or think about the financial impact of their decisions on the patient. I feel bad to leave a bad review for a doctor but will not see any other dermatologist and just try to protect my skin from more damage by wearing good sunscreen and won’t pay for expensive medicines, etc. I also read that treating melasma is so difficult and almost impossible..
