Removed filler and now I'm happy!

WORTH IT$550
I have anxiety, and I would recommend Dr. Kundaria to my sisters, mother, and friends in a heart beat. He was attentive to my personal beauty ideals and goals, and is one of the kindest doctors you will ever meet. I felt that I could trust him from the start of the session; these days nurses and doctors are pumping us full with botox and filler for the financial gains instead of helping us look better. The more they pump in us, the more money they make. I've learned this hard lesson with nurses performing my botox and allowing a non plastic surgeon to place filler. (I am done with filler now)
I want to share my anxiety-ridden roller coaster of a story to help others who feel nervous.
I had too much filler placed under my eyes and lips right before corona shuttered the non-essential businesses. To be honest, I felt disfigured for two months, so I was desperate to get my old face back. I went back to the original doctor to ask to get some of it removed and he told me "you looked so ugly before, you'll go back to looking sleepy again." His nurse had photoshopped the before picture to make my eye bag look severely deep, and photoshopped the after picture to hide the Tindall effect and ridges.
To me, when I looked in the mirror I saw that I was wearing a mask, ready to make my debut as an alien in Star Trek.
My coworkers and friends looked at me in weird ways and my best friend reassured me that I was right, I didn't get my features enhanced with the filler but it had in fact detracted from the uniqueness of my face.
If you read reviews on real self like I did, it will lead you to believe that you're stuck with the filler, or that hyaluronidase will melt your face off.
During my consultation with Dr. Kundaria, he provided me with the pros and cons of the filler disolver in an easily digestible format. I knew my anxiety was through the roof, but having a kind and gentle doctor lead me to be brave.
I had to pep myself up and take the risk of getting it removed and it potentially melting my face off because that was 100% better than looking like a Star Trek alien. Atleast if it melted my face off, I was in the hands of a very nice facial plastic surgeon who would fix me.
He numbed the area and then performed the procedure. It's painful- but the pain is worth the beauty! If I were calmer, I dont think it would have hurt as much... the cupids bow of the lip is the worse in my opinion. I've read some doctors use a lidocaine solution which could be less painful.
To my surprise the filler was 85% removed immediately!! Yay!! It was a little swollen from the mixture and it bruised slightly. Within 72 hours the swelling and bruising had subsided and I loved the results. It didnt eat my face away thank goodness.
I had some very very very minor wrinkling from my skin being stretched out from the filler- so I drank collagen and used my skinmedica hyaluronic acid and ceramide products. The wrinkling is 99% gone. I don't pay attention to it. I did go back in for another dissolving and need one more since the original filler was placed on different planes of tissue.
I couldn't recommend this office anymore, Jess and Dr. Kundaria are easy going, sweet, and really go out of their way for their patients.

Lol the same thing happened with me (them photoshopping my before picture to look horrific and/or sending it with the harshest lighting they could find). I got a picture at another surgeons and I looked 10 years younger . People are snakes trying to cover their mistakes at all costs. I'm so glad that you got your filler dissolved and that you no longer have the discoloration or ridges. You've inspired me to take the plunge, I've been stuck with bad under eye filler since 2017; it doesn't go away on its own for a long long long time.

the filler stayed four years? I'm having the same issue and I'm stuck with it. I hate it so much but I already used hyad disollver four or five times. two doctors advised me against dissolving it further! they said it would melt the natural HA and other doc told me IT MELT NATURAL TISSUES!

Fantastic feedback...I too had a pleasant experience with getting my filler dissolved..I feel like sometimes we get so accustom to the plumpness that we forget what our real structure looks like. Secondly I feel like anytime we stretch our skin (like with filler or pregnancy etc) we are bound to be left with permanent skin elasticity stretch.
Could you please advise on the products you stated you used to assist with skin bounce back?

Yes! The collagen peptides its a powder you mix into a drink, dr. Jart ceramide cream, and skinmedica hyaluronic acid. I also use vitamin c, tretinoin, and sunscreen regularly. I know I can’t avoid aging, but I can age gracefully with this solid combination. I subscribed to Dr. dray on YT, she’s amazing for any skin concerns!

Update for Nuance

Update with a full face picture. I’m very pleased with the dissolver and botox placed by Dr. Kundaria. I love having my face 98% back to normal! There is just a little bit of filler left but Im going to forget about it, I underwent three dissolver appointments and he recommended that we stop so I wouldn’t waste my money. The last time I could hear the restylane crunch and I massaged it for one hour to help break it up. Yay, my face didn’t melt off!

Hi! I’m so glad you’re doing well! Do you know how many units of hyaluronidase they used per session?

Hi how's going after some time? Still good or some bad reactions/consequences?
June 27, 2021
Thank you so much for sharing your experience and so glad it worked good for you :)
What about the first redness reaction after hya was used? Did it heal by itsown or did you use some products to speed up healing process (of redness/ skin irritation I mean) ?

Hi sorry for the delay!
The initial redness may just be from being hot. I flush easily and one of my after pictures was at a peach stop after a long day at a pool.
My face is still just fine after hylenex.

This is a good review and am happy for her but I am saddened by the way she’s refuted the pain of those whose faces n eyes did melt in the process sometimes to the extent of developing Auto immune disease... yesss it’s true ... when she said we will be led to believe ... Hyaluronidase is harmful ... u know what girl u might be out of the really lucky ones who escaped the clutches of hell but not everyone does ... just be a little more sensitive towards them and there’s nothing at all they did except get the dissolver n ruin their lives , their beauty , and I would still discourage people from taking the risk ... rest is upto u ... it’s like a gamble u bet ur life on

You are extremely lucky you did not develop permanent skin damage and a while host of other skin problems with Hyaluronidase. I had a small amount of this in my cheeks and it caused skin damage and indentations all over my face as well as saggy skin. I had it tisw the first time everything seemed fine and the second time I had serious damage to my skin. I know other women who are in the same situation. I just wanted to let you know this so you know. It's a risk to do this every single time. Please consider not doing it again if you are placed in a similar situation of having to remove fillers and just let them dissolve naturally. This enzyme is not worth the risk.
Can I ask you which type of hyaluronidase did the doctor use, and how many units?
And also did he inject hyaluronidase with cannula or small needle? Thank you for sharing it
