In researching skincare doctors in my area; I was happy to have found Nuance Facial Plastics! I've now been a long time patient of Dr. Kundaria. It started with the purchasing of my regular skincare routine products Obaji and Skin Celuticals. In addition, I have used them for my Botox, fillers, and lip injections. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. It is always natural looking and my skin looks amazing! I'm consistently complemented on how young I look. I'm 40 and have no wrinkles! Dr. Kundaria is an amazing doctor and listens to my concerns and gives me the best value to achieve my skincare goals long term and short term. I'm extremely pleased with this service and highly recommend! Five Star Service!
I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Kundaria, and the way he runs his practice. His bedside manner, his attention to detail, and his extensive knowledge about facial anatomy are just a few things that set him apart. Moreover, he spends time, educating his patients (me) on the best products and services to address each concern. I love that Dr. Kundaria appreciates natural beauty, and isn’t the typical plastic surgeon that will over-doctor you, just to get more business. I’ve never received more compliments on my skin since I’ve been seeing him. Dr. Kundaria has carefully administered my Botox, for the past year, and has done an excellent job, each time. He has also, most recently, administered Sculptra, to address some of my concerns about collagen/fat loss in my face. Dr. Kundaria pays extra careful attention to ensuring that I am comfortable, and that the pain is virtually non-existent. I truly can’t recommend him enough, and I do anytime I am asked who takes care of my skin. I trust his expertise, and advice, implicitly, and I know I am in the best hands when I’m under his care. If you’re searching for a Sculptra doctor, please go see Dr. Kundaria.
I have anxiety, and I would recommend Dr. Kundaria to my sisters, mother, and friends in a heart beat. He was attentive to my personal beauty ideals and goals, and is one of the kindest doctors you will ever meet. I felt that I could trust him from the start of the session; these days nurses and doctors are pumping us full with botox and filler for the financial gains instead of helping us look better. The more they pump in us, the more money they make. I've learned this hard lesson with nurses performing my botox and allowing a non plastic surgeon to place filler. (I am done with filler now) I want to share my anxiety-ridden roller coaster of a story to help others who feel nervous. I had too much filler placed under my eyes and lips right before corona shuttered the non-essential businesses. To be honest, I felt disfigured for two months, so I was desperate to get my old face back. I went back to the original doctor to ask to get some of it removed and he told me "you looked so ugly before, you'll go back to looking sleepy again." His nurse had photoshopped the before picture to make my eye bag look severely deep, and photoshopped the after picture to hide the Tindall effect and ridges. To me, when I looked in the mirror I saw that I was wearing a mask, ready to make my debut as an alien in Star Trek. My coworkers and friends looked at me in weird ways and my best friend reassured me that I was right, I didn't get my features enhanced with the filler but it had in fact detracted from the uniqueness of my face. If you read reviews on real self like I did, it will lead you to believe that you're stuck with the filler, or that hyaluronidase will melt your face off. During my consultation with Dr. Kundaria, he provided me with the pros and cons of the filler disolver in an easily digestible format. I knew my anxiety was through the roof, but having a kind and gentle doctor lead me to be brave. I had to pep myself up and take the risk of getting it removed and it potentially melting my face off because that was 100% better than looking like a Star Trek alien. Atleast if it melted my face off, I was in the hands of a very nice facial plastic surgeon who would fix me. He numbed the area and then performed the procedure. It's painful- but the pain is worth the beauty! If I were calmer, I dont think it would have hurt as much... the cupids bow of the lip is the worse in my opinion. I've read some doctors use a lidocaine solution which could be less painful. To my surprise the filler was 85% removed immediately!! Yay!! It was a little swollen from the mixture and it bruised slightly. Within 72 hours the swelling and bruising had subsided and I loved the results. It didnt eat my face away thank goodness. I had some very very very minor wrinkling from my skin being stretched out from the filler- so I drank collagen and used my skinmedica hyaluronic acid and ceramide products. The wrinkling is 99% gone. I don't pay attention to it. I did go back in for another dissolving and need one more since the original filler was placed on different planes of tissue. I couldn't recommend this office anymore, Jess and Dr. Kundaria are easy going, sweet, and really go out of their way for their patients. Updated on 17 Aug 2020: Update with a full face picture. I’m very pleased with the dissolver and botox placed by Dr. Kundaria. I love having my face 98% back to normal! There is just a little bit of filler left but Im going to forget about it, I underwent three dissolver appointments and he recommended that we stop so I wouldn’t waste my money. The last time I could hear the restylane crunch and I massaged it for one hour to help break it up. Yay, my face didn’t melt off! Updated on 27 Jun 2021: After hylenex to disolve bad filler with Dr. Kundaria at Nuance in Charlotte.
