11 months out AND NO IT NEVER WENT BACK TO NORMAL!!!!!! It is BS!
It has been 11 months since my nightmare started. I still wake up thinking I want to die and the only thing keeping me going is trying to fix this. I already had 1 fat graft but I need another one and also a possible lift the doctor said, ALL AT AGE 34 thanks to HYALURONIDASE that doctors in America keep claiming "It doesn't damage tissues", HA! I traveled to Mexico to get detailed MRI (since no one in America would do one for me because insurance does not approve and also getting one is expensive) and it PROVED I had substantial fat atrophy (loss) in my face. I don't know why, but just like laser damage some get damaged by hyaluronidase and our tissues get DESTROYED. Everyone used to say I looked 23 before this now but I look closer to 45. What's more depressing is that in Latin America (I consulted several doctors in Colombia ,Mexico and Brazil. Yes, that is how desperate I was to find answers!) doctors are more knowledgeable about hyaluronidase because they use it for CELLULITE REMOVAL. One doctor even showed me :-( I learned too late about the lie. Go ahead google hyaluronidase in Spanish ( "hialuronidasa para fibrosis or celulitis") or Portuguese and you will find wonderful reviews about how hyaluronidase helped remove their cellulite or lumps left behind after a liposuction/ lipo-sculpture! Also if you're looking for a good fat graft doctor I HIGHLY recommend Michael Law for fat because he knows this thing damaged and he constantly gets patients he needs to fix with laser damage and hyaluronidase damage. There a few good doctors out there. Stay AWAY from Beverly Hills or New York doctors.

" Hyaluronidase is a powerful enzyme used for a variety of medical purposes to break down natural connective tissues. Whilst deeper injections to other areas of the face are often more forgiving, the thinness of the tear trough areas allows for much less tolerance of adverse results from hyaluronidase use. Higher doses can lead to damage of native extracellular matrix glycosaminoclycans, leaving a gaunt appearance with poor skin texture (Figure 4). Patients are increasingly presenting with hyaluronidase-related damage, which is often untreatable. Hyaluronidase therapy to the periocular area can have devastating results and should only be provided by experienced practitioners with caution. The view that fillers are a ‘natural substance’ and can be simply dissolved without complications is outdated. Given that we are now understanding more about how fillers interact with the body we need to move away from the simplistic view of fillers as an easily reversible therapy..."

Hyaluronidase DOES DAMAGE TISSUES!!! I Am Proof Sadly!
Please anyone reading about hyaluronidase DO NOT GET IT or get units maybe. Then stop and asses in 2 months.
I had an overfill by a incompetent doctor and I went to an oculoplastic surgeon to get dissolved. Little did I know I was dissolving my own fat and tissue. My own COLLAGEN!
I thought the puff and filler was not going away so I got more disolving. Then doctor put 100 units each eye and the next day I woke up and bam I saw my eyes were hollowed and doughy and I had a dent on my cheek the size of a pencil eraser. My eye fat was all gone It is so weird! I too believed doctors say over and over and over again that it does NOT AFFECT fat or tissue or collagen. Beverly Hills doctors and Manhattan doctors all say this. YouTube is full of then claiming it doesn't and on the QA on realself same thing. It is very few that acknowledge it does and when you go back and claim to the doctor about your looks...they say maybe that is what you looked like and you forgot how you looked.
REALLY? I remember what I looked like 2 months before under eye filler and have all my pictures and videos to prove it as well. I have never had hollows or this skin texture and I have never had dents or an atrophy in my face. I KNOW MY FACE AND again I have images and videos as proof.
I trusted doctors and now I am deformed and disfigured. My undereye area collapsed and is thin to the bone in the orbital area. Even getting filler at this point won't help because the skin is so thin now it will show a tyndall effect and blue.
