My belly was lipoed on the bottom portion (belly button down) 9 years ago. I have had loose rolls above my navel and a weird appearance overall ever since. It's certainly not attractive and with the recovery of lipo I would never suggest it. Anyway, my current plastic surgeon recommended Exilis but has really downplayed down the effectiveness saying that they just haven't seen much result from it. But I think it's worth a try because there's really no other option and I just had my breasts redone so I went for it. I had 4 treatments spaced about a week apart. The RN said if I see results it would be 3-6 months from the last treatment, so May-June timeframe. I will post my before pics and update! Btw treatments last about 15 minutes and are warm but otherwise painless. They use a lot of baby oil to help the machine roll around.

I have also been looking at this. I had lipo about 15 years ago and in the same boat as you with some lumps and such all over. I thought abdominal treatments were close to an hour though.

I think it varies depending on the patient. They use a different setting to melt fat vs. tighten skin and they used the skin settings. I think my treatments were actually 12 minutes. I'd love to hear about your results too! I hope it works. I'm using a treatment lotion they recommended in conjunction with the treatments. I will post it...

I, too, was looking into Exilis for skin tightening on my body: upper arms and tummy. My dermatologist and his esthetician here in Denver did not recommend Exilis for that purpose. They said that they have not seen the results for body tightening that the Exilis company touts. However, they did say that they are seeing very good results in tightening facial and neck skin. That being said, I bit the bullet and went with 5 treatments for my face and neck. I'm 63, and definitely have some sagging in the jowl and neck area and wrinkles and creppiness around the eyes and mouth. Further, my face is slightly asymmetrical due to having Bells Palsy about 20 yrs ago. Well, first, the procedure can be painful from the heat, but I have a high threshold for pain, and the esthetician has only had to bring the temp down 2x in 4 treatments. She then ratchets the temp back up. Second, the whole premise of Exilis is to burn the collagen so your skin makes new collagen to tighten your skin. For 24 hours after the procedure, I wear a balaclava to keep my face and neck warm. Thirdly, I've been taking organic, no added hormone or antibiotic powdered collagen and drinking organic bone broth almost every day to promote increased internal collagen production...or so "they" say??? So, does it work? Well, I've seen a slight tightening of my turkey neck. I've seen an extreme tightening around my mouth and eyes. And, the asymmetry from the Bells Palsy is drastically improving. I actually have an arch to my left eyebrow, which has been flat for 20 yrs. Two weeks ago I went to a wedding. Someone heard me say that I was 63. They just about fell over. I wasn't very humble about the compliments. I actually made the people tell me where on my person did I not look 63. All the answers were, "your face and neck look young." Several people thought I was in my 40s. I'm sooooo addicted to Exilis for facial treatments now; I don't want to stop.

All that being said, please keep us all posted here on your body tightening. With such good success on my face, maybe I'd try my arms?

Wow great results for you! I would definitely be open to trying it on my face at some point. What is the texture of your facial skin? Mine is thin/ fragile. I wonder if that would matter. My results I thought were not much but I can see some effects. I may do more treatments.

I've heard of this stuff. I'll have to research it.

I will be very interested to hear how this goes for you. I had Lopo on my stomach five years ago and have been very disappointed with the result. I have some lumpiness and my skin never really snapped back. My plastic surgeon said I ideally needed a tummy tuck but I would have been ok with the somewhat loose skin IF there had been no lumpiness. It's so obvious to me that the fat was removed in a less than uniform manner.

I'm curious - did your doctor talk with you about a revision to the lipo? Or are you strictly concerned with loose skin?

Actually he said that more lipo would not help but may give me more loose skin. This is my new PS, who's the best in my city. He said the only way to solve it is a tummy tuck. But the tummy tuck is so invasive plus the cost, downtime, etc... It's not worth it to me. When I'm super thin the appearance is better straight on. Sigh

June was the month I'm supposed to see the results from my series of treatments. I can see some improvements but I've probably changed my shape from abdominal weight machine, strenuous exercise and the treatments all combined. Is it better???

It looks like there is less skin but I think the difference would be easier to see if you lean over so the extra skin "crinkles."
