Must have implants removed permanently 3.5 years later. Another rupture and recalled Allergan textured implants
About to go through surgery AGAIN 9/25/19. I knew one of my breast had changed shape and become "high" - yep its another rupture. Apparently capsular contraction is very common after your 1st capsular contraction. New surgeon suggested I would most certainly have another rupture regardless if silicon or saline implants. Then I learned they are also recalled as having a risk of lymphoma. Allergan is not paying a dime towards the recall. Will post pics soon. I cannot believe this is happening.

I'm so sorry you're having to go through this again! I just had a reduction, lift and revision 4 months ago due to CC and seromas around my 17 year old DDD's. It was my 7th surgery in 40 years. I hope I'm done.

I'm sorry you are going through this, I also have those allergan implants, my surgeon has given me a quote for revision and also advised that allergan is providing the new implants free of charge, I am in Canada so not sure if it is the same in the States, but I don't see why not? I am going in November, and also going smaller (I currently have 440s, probably going to 300-350s-I am 180lbs 5'6") So happy you are happy with your results, it gives me hope!
