27 Just Had 5mm Permalip Implant on my Top Lip. (Pics updated throughout )

After doing some intensive research of this procedure I decided to go ahead with the operation. I’ve read a lot of bad reviews but some good. Each person that has a bad experience they are likely to express themselves whereas good ones go unheard, so I took that chance. I went with the 5mm larger implant as I wanted the best and biggest result. I have had lip fillers and I love them, but they are painful, cost a lot and don’t last long for me. I used to get 1ml intralin. Today I had the procedure and I am very swollen but I expected this to happen from my research, just hoping I am satisfied with my end result. For me personally I found it painful, it was the local anaesthetic which hurt the most for me. The procedure itself I barely felt it. I was made really welcome at my consultation and on the surgery table. They even asked what my fave band was so I was more at ease. I said mcfly so had a mcfly playlist during my time there which was a nice touch. Will upload some pictures of my lips before straight after and now.

4 hours after surgery. Pain is bareable with medication. I’m on paracetamol and codine. Told not to have ibroprofen as causes bruising. Puffy face and slight bruising
