Removal & Replacement of Breast Implants by Charles Nduka. I Couldn't Have Been in Better Hands - Hove, GB

WORTH IT
I had cohesive gel implants back in 1999 by another ( doctor recommended ) surgeon I'll call him Mr A.
from day one I was unhappy with the results. Far from making me more confident with my body I hated my breasts, they were uneven, "stuck on" looking & seemed to be in an unnatural position. I hid them away for around 15 years. During the course of this time they became hardened ( encapsulated)and painful, then softer and more uneven. I of course brought this up with Mr A but he really couldn't have been less interested, it was my fault for not wearing a support bra ( he specifically told me I didn't need to)
He made the generous offer of replacement at the same price..... Once bitten!

I set out to find another surgeon, after a couple of consultations with different surgeons, a lot of homework & googling, I found Charles Nduka. He's reviews were excellent, his photos were really inspiring so I arranged a consultation with him. His secretary Elaine is lovely, really friendly, down to earth & it seems nothing is too much trouble.
You only have to google Mr Nduka to see what a skilled surgeon he is, truly one of the best. So I had certain expectations when it came to meeting him, based on the demeanour and attitudes of other surgeons. I couldn't have been more wrong...
Right from the start Mr Nduka was a really nice man, he was friendly, listened to my issues, agreed that my boobs were not ok & said they could be vastly improved.
He also mentioned a possible rupture ( which turned out to be correct)
From that first consultation I knew what ever his price,I didn't want anyone else to do my surgery.
I met with him again where we discussed sizing, the risks of surgery pre and post op care.
I trusted him completely to give me natural looking boobs, he strongly advised me against going too large ( yeah I had booby greed!)
A week before my surgery date I had a detailed medical at the hospital to ensure I was fit & prepared for the operation.
I wasn't the slightest bit nervous ( and after the first boob job disaster I should have been) every nurse I came into contact with rated Mr Nduka so highly, told me how lucky I was to have him as my surgeon. I was completely confident to be in Mr Ndukas care.
My procedure took place in the Montifiore hospital & the staff and surroundings were wonderful.
The operation itself took longer than expected as one of my old implants had ruptured meaning Mr Nduka had to spend hours carefully taking it out.
I woke up not really in any pain, only a feeling of weight on my chest but I knew this was completely normal. I recovered in my lovely hospital room while friendly nurses attended to anything I might have needed, I was given standard painkillers regularly ( I found I didn't need anything stronger). My drip was removed quickly as I was more than willing to eat & drink at any given opportunity.
The next morning Mr Nduka came to see me to make sure I was feeling ok, to answer any questions & to remove my drains. After collecting my prescriptions I was allowed to go home.
My level of pain was minimal, swelling and bruising negligible and my levels of mobility were fine. But I have to say I made sure I followed my aftercare instructions to the letter.
It's been just over eight weeks since my operation now & ive had two follow up consultations with Charles, one to remove my dressings and another to check everything is settling down as it should.
I am now wearing proper bras (28 D) my boobs look and feel really natural I couldn't be happier with them. I also know Charles and Elaine are at the end of the phone if ever I have any worries
I wouldn't consider surgery with anyone else now, & I would only ever recommend Charles Nduka

That's great you weren't even nervous for your surgery. It sounds like all your research really paid off! Feel free to see how other breast implant revision members are doing with their recovery on this forum. Hope you'll update us again soon!

This is great to read. Very interesting. I am having surgery with him next year and I am very happy with my consultations. So it's lovely to read such a glowing review to help build my confidence as I am terrified of the operation. However I am less terrified since I've met Mr Nduka, as he just gives you so much confidence whilst being very honest about what you can expect from your surgery.

Hi Lara, as you read my first experience wasn't good at all, so I made sure I got it right the second time. I honestly wouldn't consider going to anyone else now. I know you will be really really happy with the
results. Have a look at him on you tube if you haven't already .
I'll be posting some before and after photos shortly. I look very natural
I don't know what surgery you're having so maybe not relevant.
My surgery should have taken a couple of hours but Charles spent probably closer to 6 hours painstakingly carefully removing my ruptured implant. He's worth his weight in gold
