Today I am 6 weeks po...I went back to work last week...I wear my faja all day and I don't wear anything at night and I am flat in the morning...after being on my feet for long hours the faja really keeps the swelling to a minimum...once I get home and take the faja off it feels better...I use aloe gera gel, cocoa butter stick and vitamin e oil for my scar...I massage the scar with all 3...I gear some people say they itch on their scar...I have yet to itch...I had that silicon scar therapy thing but it makes my scar so red and irritated on the right side...I stopped using it...the faja applies enought pressure to the scar...I am loving my new belly...it's so flat...I can't wait to see my 3 month mark...I have got to stop eating...the vitamins make me eat some kinda terrible...I was trying to gain some of my weight back because I lost so much weight after surgery...taking care of your body after a tt is a lot of work...u have to pay such close attention to what u do and how...hope the rest of you ladies are healing swiftly and safely

Infection

Sooooooo...I was having horrible pain on my right hip on post op day 12...I woke up and literally was unable to move from sitting to standing position...my right hip hurt so bad...I called my PS and asked him to call me in some antibiotics...he did...but I felt horrible I had fever and chills so bad...today I feel much better...my JP drains were removed today...as soon as the drain on the right came out so did infected drainage and you could literally see that the drainage was infected...I am walking tall today...I feel so much better...so far I have taken 3 of my antibiotic pills and I can tell a complete difference...I started my scar gel therapy today that my PS has given to me...I'm going to wait until I finish my antibiotics before using my faja again...one of the complications that come with the surgery...I'm just glad I have bounced back very quickly...don't know how or what caused the infection on that side...I had my JP drains for 13 days
