This review is something that I feel is really...
WORTH IT$6,800
This review is something that I feel is really important to write. I personally feel there is no cosmetic procedure worth more research and careful planning that anything involving the face. Like most rhinoplasty patients, I have wanted the procedure for many many years. Yet, my concern with having what I considered to be a "cookie cutter" nose made me extremely reticent to pursue the surgery. I am part Hispanic/Native Amercian and it is extremely important to me to retain my culture. The risk of looking entirely different and losing what I considered to be my (outward) identity was enough to make me shelf the idea of Rhinoplasty for several years. From certain angles, my nose looked fine. However, I always have disliked my profile and would feel extremely self conscious when anyone viewed me from the side. When I was in my teens/20's, my face was really full (I actually hated my chipmunk cheeks...now I want them back! lol) and so my nose was more balanced. A few years ago, after having my second son, I lost a lot of weight right after due to stressful events. I was not overweight before and quickly become severely underweight. One of the things that I noticed with this loss was the decrease in symmetry in my face. My face looked less full and my proxy, my nose looked larger. I started noticing things about my nose that had not been apparent before. Such as when I would take a picture with my head tilted down, my nose looked really long, and the base of my nose looked too wide. Even after getting back to a healthy weight, I never really regained the fullness in my face. When I was pregnant with my 3rd baby, my face was fuller and yet I still disliked my nose. I knew then that I would pursue Rhinoplasty in the near future. This year, I finally decided to move forward with the surgery. I was tired of taking 20-30 pictures only to hate every single one of them because of my nose. I've always liked the rest of my features and felt that by having the surgery, some of my other features would be more visible. Before my rhinoplasty, I scoured the internet searching for every review, magazine article, youtube video, tv appearance (you get the picture lol) in help of finding the right surgeon. In the end, after months of research, I narrowed it down to three surgeons. My toddler is demanding the computer now lol. I'll post more this evening!
