No results, and all agree by now there should be something. RN not meticulous. No results. Don't bother. It is vitally important that the sutures be place at the right angles. Without surgical training, this is not possible. I spent $4500 and got nothing for it. Think twice before allowing an RN to do an invasive procedure.

Dr Mentz IS aware of this. I spoke to him about it. So..either Dr Mentz did not write this reply, or doesn't want others to think he knows about it.

Likewise, I've had it done twice, cheekbones and jaw line. I thought the first time my expectations may have been too high. The second time I was desperate as I wasn't ready to have a facelift being 54. No result, again, it was a complete waste of money. I'm baffled when o hear stories of people get great results.

I think it's important to get the word out there about this procedure being a waste of money. Please if you have the time or inclination, post a review of your experience, lack of results, money spent and doctor who performed.
I haven't seen one review of the Silhouette Instalift that has pictures to back up the positive "results."

Previous suture barbed lifts were ineffective, and this one is too. The "supposed" answer from Dr Mentz was probably written by one of his office staffers. Certainly he should not claim it takes 6 months when the literature from the manufacture 's trials showed 1-4 months. This preceedure is not something I would recommend.

Thanks for sharing. This procedure should not show an 85% 'would recommend' rating. Very misleading.

Plastic surgeon friend does not think any of the instant lifts, quick lifts etc are worth the money...his feeling is put that amt toward a "total face lift" which will get results that will last ...Friend had one of the "instant" lifts that supposedly would get rid of her cheek "folds"...Not only did it not do that but she got an infection that left scaring that had to be treated and then the scar corrected.

I can only speak to my own experience as I am 7 months post procedure and have seen ZERO improvement. What a crock.
It's been over 3 months and still no results
Like I said in my original post, save your money for a lower facelift (ala Dr. Harley's Biltmore Lift for $6400) or stick with fillers and botox. The Silhouette Instalift is nothing more than snake oil being sold by snake oil salesman.
