3 Weeks Post-Op
$6,500
Just wanted to give a quick update for you all. So--it's been 3 weeks since my surgery--and I am in love with my body! At this point I've returned to school and I feel SO much more confident with my figure.
I went dress shopping recently. I always wore a size 8 (still do), and I always had to buy clothes to fit my shoulders and not much else on me. Now my clothes fit my whole upper body! I went on a mini shopping spree and bought 10 dresses, that I am going to have tailored to better fit my waist and hips.
At this point most of my range of motion with my arms is back, and I don't need my pain medication anymore. (Didn't really need it after the 2nd week.) I have started uskng silicone gel strips to help with the scarring as well.
(Sorry that some of the photos are a bit blurry! You can still get the idea of how they have changed though.)

Post-Op Day #7 - First Dr.'s post-op visit!
Hello everyone!
I am exactly one week out from my breast augmentation surgery! What a week. I spent a LOT of time in bed playing my Nintendo Switch and watching Netflix on my laptop. My appetite has been so-so since my nose had also been plugged up post-rhinoplasty.
I've had a lot of back and forth in my head about my implant size and whether or not I went too big. Thankfully over the past week the swelling and"frankenboob" has started to go away, and I'm feeling more confident that I made the right choice.
I made the trip down to the Dr.'s office today (with my brother as chauffeur) for my first post-op visit today!
He explained all of the questions I had as well as getting me a new, larger, surgical bra since the one I was given was far too small. He explained some how some of the appearance of my breasts was dude to the implants initially acting as a tissue expander before the implant starts to drop. He noticed some irritation on my right breast incision, so I've been instructed to reapply some steri-strips in two days along with some antibiotic ointment to keep things healing nicely. My other incision, on my left breast looks good! My doctor explained that the 'divot' that was there was intentional, to keep the implant in the pocket and not drop too far.
My doctor also took out my nasal cast/splints which was a great relief! I can finally breathe, smell, and talk normally again. I'm very happy with how my nose looks--it still looks like my nose, but better! I was so worried, I was having "nose dreams" for the past week. The hump I had was removed, and my doctor did many refinements (including a spreader graft, tip refinement, and a tissue graft to help de-emphasize my brow ridge). I still can't smile properly yet, but I can tell I'm going to like how things are going to end up once the facial swelling goes down.
A lot has changed in just a week and I'm excited to see how things continue to change for me over the next year!

Post-Op Day #2
Definitely a lot of swelling and a bit of bloating. Pain is getting more manageable. Was able to take a bath today which made me feel a lot more human, and got my first look at the girls! Wow. They are huge! No boob greed here, I don't think it would have been possible to fit larger implants in. Forgot to take one photo angle, but I'm just feeling so beat, y'all will have to deal. :P
