45 Year Old After 100 Lb Weight Loss - Time to Get Body I Never Dreamed I Would Ever Have

I had vertical sleeve gastrectomy done back in November 2015 and have lost just over 100 pounds. I've been fairly stable (within 10 lb range) for the last 6+ months so I have the confidence to finally schedule this surgery. I'm fortunate that the loose skin is not nearly as bad as others have experienced, however, it is there none the less. I always thought my boobs were inadequate before, so now they are really pathetic....thanks to VS Bombshell bra to at least appear proportional in clothing :) Of course Spanx helps keep the tummy and saggy ass from showing in clothes as well. However thanks to advancements in plastic surgery I can make the "clothed" version of my self the naked reality as well. I never DREAMED that I would ever be able to one day wear a bikini....just need to fork out a lot of money and endure the worst pain of my life for a period... So what all have I signed up for? Breast augmentation (Naturelle Inspira cohesive gel 360/375) with areola re-sizing, 'True Form' tummy tuck with diastasic repair, liposuction on flanks and lower abs, fat grafting to lateral gluteal & buttocks and but lift. All in one surgery that will be approximately 5 hours long. Am I nervous? Hell yes but excited at the same time at this point. I am in a bit of a quandary at the moment however...when I last saw my surgeon he told me to not loose anymore weight and to perhaps gain another 10 lbs. Battle is that I'm 10 lbs heavier today than I would like to be...was in Size 4 and now inched up to Size 6 and not liking that one bit so the quandary...what to do... So many doctors and reviews I've read say to be at your ideal weight when you have this surgery so what is the right answer? Any advise please?

Actually the extra weight is good because he needs to harvest a good amount fat to put back in other places. You'll be fine. I've been stalking dr patronellas work for years! You are in good hands.

Just a week away from the surgery that I hope will change my body into something I never dreamed I could have

Finally posting pictures. Pictures really tell the tale and I've been on this site long enough to know really how important they are. Each of us is different and after significant weight loss we are each left with something different. I hope that my pictures and posts will help someone else decide if this surgery is right for her. Had pre-op visit on Friday..basically signed a bunch of documents, one for each type of surgery being performed, given pre&post vitamins/supplements to take, prescriptions, and very short visit with Dr.P. Little disappointed with the visit with Dr. P (he seemed very rushed) but had to confirm 2 things: (1) will the surgery in any way cause issues with my IBS and (2) confirm the size of the breast implants. So for the first question, I have a very sensitive body and recently my IBS has flared on and off and had found some testimonies on the web where women said their tummy tuck was too tight and ended up having stomach and gastrointestinal issues that they did not have before the surgery. Freaked me out and I almost canceled that part of the surgery, but Dr.P re-assured me that what he is doing is superficial with no contact with my internal organs and should not cause those kinds of issues. I believe him so I'm proceeding as originally planned. As for the size of the breast implants, I wanted to be sure (since I changed the size I wanted from 1st consult to 2nd consult) that the size I chose would give me the result I currently was getting with my Victoria Secret Bombshell bra. Ever since loosing over 100 lbs, I've been wearing a size 34D in this bra and it really has grown on me as the best size for my frame. I'm an A cup at best currently so have no clue how they determined that 34D was the right size for me but it has worked thus far. So he examined my breasts one last time and felt that the implants chosen will give me what a want possibly a bit more. I pray I'm not getting too large (Naturell Silicone SRM 360 & 365). I will loose credibility in my job if my boobs are the first thing that a man notices about me so getting the size right is very important. I chose Dr.P for his very natural results and I don't want someone to look at me and think immediately that "oh yeah she's had plastic surgery." I never thought I would ever be getting plastic surgery but I never thought I would be smaller than a size 12 either. I'm nervous and scared and excited all at the same time but right now truly believe that this surgery will help change my view of my body in ways I cannot do alone. I just pray that my surgery goes smoothly and have no complications after surgery.
