Dr. P and his staff are amazing! I had an extensive tummy tuck, and they were there for me every step of the way. His bed side manner is like no other dr. Very nice guy. If you are thinking about cosmetic surgery, he is the dr to go to. Makes you feel comfortable right off the bat. And all his staff were there to answer questions whenever I needed them. Got back to me promptly, and was very attentive.
Had my lower eyelids done finally and they turned out amazing. If you were thinking about it I can tell you unequivocably go ahead and do it, you will be so happy! Dr. Patronella is amazing!
I was extremely nervous about the consultation but Dr.P made me feel really comfortable. He explained the procedures thoroughly. I did need to lose some weight to meet his criteria but I'm glad he had my safety in mind. Pre-Op instructions were very clear and I was provided most of everything I would need in a nice overnight bag. The surgical center was relaxing. The nurses were very nice and calming. I did have a complication that required me to climb back on the operating table unsedated the day after surgery to have a hematoma drained. That was actually awful. A nurse was sent to my home for a few days to help me change my garments and answers any questions. I'm happy with the experience.
Excellent! Returned to the same practice after more than 20 years for my explant and lift. Great care with wonderful nurses and staff! Very easy experience. Left feeling confident after the consultation. Highly recommend seeking an opinion and consultation.
Dr Patronella is the best if the best. He is a true artist and takes great care in his work. Both he and his staff are so caring and take wonderful care of their patients. He has given me a body that I can be proud of after losing 92 pounds. He’s performed, on me, My first breast implants 12 years ago, a breast lift and switch from saline to silicone at my request 1 1/2 years ago, his famous tummy tuck and a lower body lift 6 years ago, enabling me to wear a bikini again for the first time in 30 years. Dr. P. is truest the best of the best in every aspect of what one wants in a doctor.
This is 8 days PO. Had facelift and necklift and very happy with progress. Love my doc and healing has been easy compared to other surgeries. I only have a little bruising and slight swelling under my chin and at cheeks. Updated on 23 Feb 2019: Here are my before pics taken early February 2019. I was not all that dissatisfied with my appearance in general but felt my face was dragging me down and when I saw my profile in a mirror, window or pic...kept feeling a little shockwave! Updated on 27 Feb 2019: Wanted to sow my healing. This is the day I left the surgery center. I don’t remember much about that day now. I stayed in a hotel that night and for several days after until my followup on the following Tuesday. It was a good decision since I live 1.5 hrs from my doctor and I have older kids and pets at home!!! Updated on 27 Feb 2019: These are in order from the next day after surgery through second week. Updated on 10 Mar 2019: I’m getting better every day. I start feeling the swelling between 1-3 pm every day after feeling really good in the morning and as the day goes on feel a lot of fullness and occasional zingers. I have been going to bed early because of it. I am back working (work from home office), but around 7pm I use ice packs and put an end to the day! I highly recommend not overdoing in weeks 1-4. I am numb on cheeks and In front of my ears, under my chin, but this week I am beginning to feel some regeneration of nerves! Will start exercising in one more week. Updated on 11 Mar 2019: Several people asked my age and so wanted to include it. I am a 58 yo mother of six! I did not always take care of my skin but in the last 10 years my oldest son who is in the beauty and skin care industry, kept on me about sunscreen. I rarely go out now without it on my face and neck. I had an IPL treatment one time and it was so evident what the sun had done to my neck on the left side just while driving! Not smoking, staying hydrated, good diet sunscreen....goes along way younger ladies!!! Do it now!! Updated on 8 Apr 2019: Feeling much better. Still have a lot of numbness. Incisions in hairline are not yet healed completely! My gray is really coming on front now and dont want to color til I’m more healed. Tip: make sure you color right before surgery! I started riding my bike gain this week. Training for MS 150 so have to get going. Felt fine. No issues. Updated on 8 Apr 2019: Updated on 8 Apr 2019: Got my hair colored. Stylist was careful and kept color off my incisions. I feel fabulous now!! Updated on 17 Apr 2019: I am feeling great. Swelling more resolved. It’s still present but much less. Incisions above my ears are not 100% healed but almost. I have hair loss so have to wet hair down. Otherwise I am very happy with my outcome. Updated on 29 Apr 2019: This past weekend I rode in the MS150...that’s 150 miles from Houston to Austin on a road bike. I’m still numb but feeling pretty well. Incision in my hair on right side still not completely healed. Most of the swelling is gone.
I had my consultation today with dr patronella and he was wonderful! I've been searching for a dr and I finally found one! He is down to earth and gives you his fullest attention and offers his honest opinion. Can't wait to have my surgery!
I had a breast reduction with a lift. I wanted a fuller look than the regular lift or reductions typically have. My surgeon did an amazing job moving my natural tissue around to help me achieve that look. I also had a tummy tuck with liposuction and fat grafting. He completely transformed my body and I am in love!!! If you’re in the Houston area, totally recommend Dr. Christopher Patronella!!!
Highly recommend and can honestly say this was pretty pain free. Dr. Patronella and office Staff were so wonderful and professional. He also did breast implants 9 years ago. I did not have a brow lift. I'm 6 months out now and can still tell when I've had too much salt. It's a good reminder that salt isn't my friend. I'm living in California now and the biggest compliment i get is that I look so "natural". Thank you Dr. P. Updated on 20 Mar 2017: Updated on 20 Mar 2017:
Uneven nipples after a breast augmentation and lift can be caused by a variety of reasons. Some possibilities include an implant that has dropped too low, causing the the nipple to rise higher; differences between the two breasts in the distance between the nipple and and the breast crease; differences in healing. The exact cause needs to be carefully analyzed and corrected. Almost always, some secondary surgical treatment will improve asymmetries between the two breasts.
The implant profile is most often chosen based upon specific individual anatomy from one patient to another. Generally speaking, the higher the profile of the implant, the less natural it appears, but the better the imolant will reduce (fill out) loose skin over it. In addition, a higher iprofile implant is more narrow; therefore, there will be less fullness along the sides of the beasts.
From time to time, implants - when placed under the muscle - do not fall adequately into the lower portion of the breasts. The photo you submitted suggests that the implant hasn’t fully dropped as expected. It is possible that a secondary procedure to release the breast tissue and/or the muscle in the lower portion of the breast will improve this condition. It is also possible that excessive scar tissue has enveloped the implant, causing it to sit too high. In this circumstance, removing scar tissue can also improve the appearance of the breast by lowering the implant. Finally, if there is loose breast tissue (sagging) over the implant, then a breast lift might be the desired approach. All of these possibilities can be evaluated by a plastic surgeon accustomed to doing corrective revisional breast implant surgery.
The primary causes of rippling/wrinkling of the breasts following breast augmentation are: 1. The patient is very thin, with little fat to camouflage the implant. 2. The implant is placed above the muscle. 3. Saline implants are used. Replacing the saline implant with a silicone gel implant often improves rippling dramatically. In addition, converting the position of the implant to under the muscle as opposed to over the muscle can also improve upper breast rippling. Finally,, in the patient who is excessively thin, gaining some weight can be helpful. Overinflating a saline implant does not typically eliminate rippling of the implant.
The results of tummy tuck and body lift surgery can be long lasting (many years). It’s highly dependent upon a person’s motivation to maintain muscle tone and a stable weight through a healthy lifestyle and dietary restrictions. As with most cosmetic procedures, the aging process continues, and the potential for additional surgery is always possible. Yet secondary procedures tend to be simpler and less involved in order to restore the results achieved from the previous procedure.
