Disappointed

$7,000
After 3 surgeries my face fell quickly. I would not choose DrAthre for a doctor. It makes me sad to say this as he is a nice guy. To make a friend is not the reason I went to him though. Sorry to say it was a failure

Hello, I’m sorry to hear it was unsuccessful. I can’t imagine all of that and after only 5 years to have it fall. What were the 3 different surgeries you had with him? What was he willing to re-do…the entire facelift?
Thanks for your time helping us all to understand the process.

Infection is gone and the lump in my neck removed

I was awake while this was done in Dr. Athre's office. Still a great doctor but being awake and sitting up in a chair while having my neck cut on was a nightmare for me! It is now May 2015 and this started in Oct 2014. A week ago in a hospital again Dr. Athre took out the tissue in my neck and redraped my neck. The pain this time is worse then the first time. I'm healing as my Surgery was done April 29/2015. I just pray this time all goes well and I have the neck I went In for in October. Dr. Athre has always been kind and always there for me. He's been right by my side through this whole thing and been very honest. He does not know why I was allergic to the stitches as it is so rare to be. What I want though is the end result. I will post more as I heal.

Neck and lower facelift

It's now The end of February. I am receiving Steroid shots from Dr. Athre because I was told I was allergic to the PDS stitches that were used. I am disappointed because as I said the main focus for me was my neck. I still have hope the lump will go away and my neck will look smooth. I am scared though. Will post more if there are any changes. So far the lump has just gone down a bit. I feel like my neck looks a bit deformed.
