I feel your pain. I've had 5 fraxels and my scars aren't really that bad and still 4200 dollars later zero improvement. It's hard but we've somehow got to learn to accept ourselves flaws and all. Good luck to you.

I am so, sorry to hear that you have gone through that! I wish Dr. Bogle would have enough integrity to take care of things as she said she would a year later; now I know that she did not had much experience, at the time, with he Fraxel restore, and I pay the price for that. The least she should have done was give me my money back, but it was $5K, and she was not going t let that go.

I had paid 5,000.00 too. When he saw my damage he literally walked out of the office screaming that i needed to see a therapist. That that damage was there before & the resurfacing brought it to the surface. I hear the same thing from others, how the doctors try to blame us. I kept writing to them for over a year. He never returned my e's or calls, just his nurse. When i finally said i was going to check with a lawyer then he told her he would pay me back. Before the surgery he promised me he would help if anything went wrong. What a joke. I later found out he had 6 malpractice suits against him. I went to a laser specialist after & had 7 fraxel treatments since he said he didn't want to take skin off, just build it up so after going through all that & spending so much I stopped having lasers done since i didn't see any change.. Now I went for a fat transfer for the fat loss & a lift. I've tried everything. I now just needle once a month & exfoliate a couple times a week. Stopped retin a, just use a retinal cream every once in a while & get fillers for the scars, I just got juve for the scars & still healing. I hate how this took over my life. I have panic attacks constantly even in my own home & cant' sleep, i shake when i wake up so bad that i went for a Parkinson test .Keep writing your doctor telling your going to see a lawyer. Can't hurt & some are taking on laser cases now. Make sure to post your reviews about the doctor on sites like vitals.com. so others don't have to go through this It's like a nightmare you can't wake up from. All i do is look out the windows seeing seasons go by & people having fun while i sit alone with creams & oils on my face. I'm hoping recell is approved soon. That might be our only hope. No more lasers, no more heat going into our skin. I want my life back So tired of being on these boards & looking up for things to help but no one seems to have an answer. I even wrote tons of tv shows asking for help. No one answers. I posted a question on realself about recell & no doctor answers. I hate when the doctors who do this to you leave you on your own to fed for yourself. I've been warning people for 7 yrs on here for people not to do it but i keep seeing new stories over and over again. I guess that's because they don't look at these boards til it's too late and their seeking help. Just trying to take it easy now, but i do exfoliate & bought a microderm md machine to use every once in a while and a dermapen. I'd like for us all to rally for recell to be available. Its beyond me why we don't have it here yet to use on anyone with skin damage. Let me know if you find anything that helps and I'll do the same. Just use oils & maybe needle once in a while too. The problem is doctors with no work ethics, although they supposedly swear on this when they become doctors, money my friend....money is the root of all evil, and some doctors seem to be extremely greedy.
