An expensive disappointment

So almost five years to the day and my neck looks almost exactly as it did BEFORE I had the face lift. Not at all what I was expecting especially since we'd already done one revision. So disappointing.

Have you spoken to your doctor? What did he say the reason for this was?
You were so happy, this after only 5 years? i would be ticked too. I am sorry. You are still beautiful.
I understand what you are going through And just how frustrating it is. I had a face and neck lift three years ago with this doctor and the results are horrible. My face and neck looked worse within the year than they did before I had the surgery. I feel it has made me look much older and overall my face my face looks lopsided. It is very depressing to spend that much money, put up with a less than pleasant bedside manner, and end up looking worse than you did before.
Not a great doctor. Too many incisions!
The doctor will blow it off. Give him a bad review on Google & Yelp. I would call office mgr for partial refund? but may do no good. So sorry for you. I had a dent on both cheeks! Do extensive research on surgeons!

Life is great!

So two weeks ago I saw Dr A. in the office for a revision on my neck. I'll confess getting the numbing shots its NOT fun but that goes pretty quickly. After that we laughed and talked and it was fine. Sutures out yesterday and I couldn't be happier. I could pass for 30!

Some slack coming back

So I'm 8 months or so out and the wrinkly neck is coming back! Headed back to see Dr. A to see what can be done but this is not where I expected to be at this point. Going to see him on 3/23 will update after that chat.

Hi again. What did you learn at your appointment ?
What type of procedure did he do?
Mine came back and 4 times he did surgery. he lifted the muscle under the neck
and never again did it sag. Your surgeon I bet didn't touch the muscle and that's why your starting to sag. hope this helped.
Dr A did do the muscle first time but he just did a bit more and it's prefect now. I think we need to recognize this is as much art as science and while I didn't want to go through it again this time was breeze and I went back to work the next day.
