Two weeks ago I set up a consultation with Dr. Cortes. I read reviews on another site where women said that they had to wait a while to speak with Dr. Cortes, because of this I double checked with the receptionist to get a good idea of how long the wait would be ahead of time. This way I would know if I would need to take additional time off work for the appointment. The lady at the front told me to be prepared to wait an hour, and no longer than an hour and a half to be in and out the door.
When I arrived at 12pm for my appointment, the waiting room was full of people who had already been there for several hours, and were complaining. I decided to go ahead and wait it out, after all, the receptionist assured me of the time it would take. I was called into the back at 1:45 I was excited thinking that the wait was finally over. Boy was I wrong! The nurse asked me to change and told me that Dr. Cortes would be in shortly. I sat in the room watching the time go by for an additional hour. By then, I was fed up so I asked the nurse how much longer, she said that I was next. A few minutes later I heard Dr. Cortes and was sure he was coming to consult with me. However, I wasn't really next. He went into another room and started with another patient. I never did get my consult with Dr. Cortes. I was out of time, so I had to leave. I just wish the receptionist would have been honest with me upfront, so I could have taken the entire day off work in preparation. If you are going in for a consult, be prepared to wait a looooong time!

Butt Implants W/ Dr. Carlos Fuentes 300cc

Okay, here it goes. I had my butt implant with Dr. Fuentes yesterday. It is now day 1 post opp, I'm staying at the recovery boutique inside the Cos-Med facility. Pain is uncomfortable, but bearable . Overall I had a pleasant experience, however, the verdict is still out on the finalienable result. What do you guys think?

Ooh i see now, u got 300 cc. Are they round or oval. They look good for ur shape. Do u know the brand of the implant?

My implant is 300cc oval. I asked for bigger but he strongly suggested that I not go too big for my size and shape.

Thanks, I'm still very sore, it is the most uncomfortable feeling I can't really describe, it's been very difficult to get good rest the past few days.

Thanks! I specifically asked doctor Fuentes that question and he said that they are not breast implants, they are designed thicker specifically for the butt.

Dr. Fuentes said that I needed to stay at least 8 days, but I decided to stay a few extra just in case there were any complications. Thank God everything has gone smoothly. I dont live here, I live in the U.S. My stay at the Recovery Boutique is $125 a night. This includes 24 hour nurse care and all meals. We'll worth it! It is also in the same building as the medical facility. My Dr. has been great, coming to check on me daily.

Or just 5,800$ for implants. Then on top of it the stay at the recovery house. No days are included free?
I would want to stay about 14 days I think or atleast till my drains would be removed.

5,800 was for my implants and lipo on my lower back. The charge for the lipo by itself was $600. The charge for the recovery boutique was extra, no free nights included. He usually removes drains after 1 week, but it's completely up to you how much longer you stay.

What day did you get your drains removed ? Ive been reading so many reviews that they are kept in from two to three weeks and people go home and have to pay thousands of dollars getting them removed in their county. :l
How much cc from the lipo did they add back? Because you dont look like you had much in the first place. I dont either so gives me hope I could get some to my hips.

My drains were taken out on day 7. I'm not sure how many cc's of lipo were taken from my back, I never asked. I know it wasn't a lot, but he insisted on the back lipo saying it was important to give me a nice shape. He added that fat to my hips.

Its been 1 week since my surgery, and I got my drains out today. It was also the first time I saw myself in full body mirror. I'm super excited, and I'm very happy with my results!!! I'm just anticipating the day where there is no more discomfort.
