WORTH IT
Finally underwent the mastopexy with implant surgery with Dr. Clayton Moliver on 2/22.

The night before, I started gabapentin + celebrex + zofran at dinnertime and four hours before surgery.

Surgery went very well, but a little longer needed in recovery...
Today is procedure day and I'm taking the same meds with flexeril. Not too much pain, but a little uncomfortable.

Post op Day 1

I couldn't roll out of bed on my own, but once I got moving, the day was better. I had to f/u with the nurse and she said that everything looked great. She taught me one simple lift and hold exercise to start four times a day until the stitches come out. I was instructed to use lamisil on all of my incisions..Apparently, there is data somewhere that says this antifungal cream helps with this initial inflammation and improves healing. After two wks, I'll move on to the silicone products.
The rest of the day went fine. I am getting up and down without issue. I got to shower. Yay! My breasts feel very full and heavy. Like something is sitting on my chest. The YIANNA bra that they put me in is very tight... and sometimes hurts the lower incisions. I'm taking celebrex twice a day, then gabapentin and flexeril three times a day. - there is minimal bruising on the breast, but I know more is coming! Time for bed!

Post op Day 2- Ouch

Alice3838
So, this morning was definitely the hardest by far. My breasts felt completely full and tight! Ouch! After getting up and moving around a bit (and taking celebrex and flexeril) the fullness improved. I was able to shower and get out of the house for lunch. Did some more moving around, but then I had some pain so I came back home and relaxed the rest of the day.
