I am very happy with how my breasts look 5 years after my breast lift and implants. I think very highly of Dr. Steely and his staff and would highly recommend him.
My incisions are typical of my healing. I do not heal as well as others and am prone to scars. It is just my body and what it always does. Dr. Steely did amazing incisions and beautiful suturing. His work on others is probably better than mine. Again... my body doesn’t heal as well as others.

Now that we are almost 5 years post op my scars are barely visible. I discovered dry-brushing several years ago, which I do to my entire body several times a week. And I have discovered that this has helped with scars healing faster.

So I've been easing back into things in the gym. One or two spin classes per week and a barre class once a week. I've done a yoga class once, but I can't do the push ups as I am still sore on my inner sutures. Stretching around the inner sutures lightly has felt good though and I am continually getting more movement. Yay! I think I will try a 1 mile jog soon just to see how I feel. I did buy some very very supportive sports bras with underwire cups. It took a little while to get use to the underwire while working out, but my PS advised me to buy some because as he says.... "Jiggle is the enemy". :)

By the way what cup size you end up with. They look just right for your frame size.

Hi hun, just founds your review, we have very similar stats and almost the same size implants so it's great to follow your progress. Boobs are looking great! Thanks for sharing your progress! I can't wait to get the bandages off of mine so I can see what they look like! 1 more week to go! :-)

Hi Pumpthemup. I just wanted to see if we can get an update now. Are you still loving your outcome? Are you able to do push ups yet? Is there anything you still can't do that you did before? I really appreciate your review and would love to know how you've healed long term!

Everything is looking really good. I'm very pleased with the results and just know my scars are going to be indiscernible a year from now. That's one of the big reasons I chose Dr. Steely. The incisions are so flat and just little red lines, and the redness will fade to white over the next year!

I got sick a couple of days ago so I called his office and he prescribed me antibiotics for 3 days (one in the morning and one at night) as a precautionary and told me to call my regular doctor if I'm still feeling bad - all as a precautionary right now. I was running a slight temp and had very sore throat and lots of gross congestion. Today I've felt much better, but still not well. Yesterday I felt so bad I couldn't even think of posting my 5 week pics, so this is a day late.

I'm so ready for the 6 week mark so I can be cleared to start working out again. Next week I must buy some really good high impact sports bras so that nothing will bounce or jiggle while I work out & jog. My PS told me jiggle is the enemy so investing in some really good sports bras is a must!!!
