A detour on the road to recovery :(

So Christmas Day I woke up with a fever of 103!! I was burning up but I'm not able to take any meds but Tylenol so I took 2 of those and my husband put cold towels on my forehead tummy and neck to try and bring my temp down. It worked a little and I came down to somewhere around 100. Later I noticed my side was soaking wet when I realized my left incision has puss coming out :( I thought it was an infection or something so I was freaking out all day. I didn't call the office or emergency number because it was Christmas and I didn't want to disturb anyone. My sister convinced me to just call the number so I did. (Called Christmas Day at night) I sent the on call nurse pictures of my incision and she forwarded them to the doc and got back with me on Monday she asked me to come in on Tuesday so she can clean it out which she did. They drained it and it mostly stopped leaking but just today I noticed another small opening where more puss has started to come out. I'm hoping it all goes away soon with the antibiotics so I can get back on track to the road for recovery.
(I was excited for lower body workouts starting January 1st guess I might have to put that on hold). I see the doctor on 01/04/2017 so he'll see how it's going along.

Sorry I'm late (last weeks photos)

So I took pictures last Thursday which marked week 2 and I also did a comparison picture for anyone who wanted to see a side by side picture. I can definitely see the difference even if just a little. I can tell one is sitting higher than the other but I'm not stressed on that since I do know that's normal for them to drop at different rates.

No as far as my incisions I only took the tape off 2 days before this picture so they didn't have much time to breath or anything. It's a working progress and I saw the doctor the same day of the pictures and he approved me to start the scar cream. He said everything looked great so far just need to move them a bit higher. Made an appointment for January for my 6 weeks appointment (I'm excited for that).

Right now what I'm really looking forward to is my 4 week mark so I can start working out my lower body at least or start something. I'm at 155 so not much of a difference really but that could be me just loosing muscle and gaining fat :( I hope not but let's not stress and just focus on the babies progressing :)

Hope all is going well for you all!

Post op day 3

Recovery I don't think could be any better. I'm so thankful for whatever it is my doctor did! I have literally had no pain just very very light pressure. I'm slowly easing off of my pain meds because i really don't think there's any need for them.

I know plenty of girls experience 'boob greed' and i swore up and down that would not happen to me but sadly I think I might just be there. But you know what I know have to be patient and wait for the drop and fluff, besides I'm only PO 3 days. Patience is key, and any bigger size is better than what i started off with.

Here are a few pictures with a bathing suit top on so I can show you ladies comparisons as they progress :)

By the way i have quite a bit of bruising on my right boob but I think it's normal from what I've seen.

Take care ladies !

Doctor seemed nice as well as nurses, I only felt a tiny bit rushed at the consultation but it was a free consultation so I understand an amazing doctor like him must have many patients to see. After reading many reviews on doctors and patients he seemed like the best pick for me. He is such a sweet man and very knowledgeable.
