Mid-thirties Mom Looking for a Better Shape and Booty

I have been searching for the "right" doctor the past 2 years and finally made my decision to go with Dr. Patrick Hsu, after seeing so many great reviews!! I have always been on the thinner side, up until the birth of my two kids. I gained 50 lbs. in between those two pregnancies and felt like the baby weight wouldn't come off anymore, even with my diet, exercise, and breastfeeding.
I felt like I would never get my pre-body back, but then I ran across Dr. Hsu's profile page on RS, and on his Instagram. It was a day when I saw one of his patient's dramatic transformations, and her before pic reminded me so much of my body.. I dialed his number SO FAST to get a consult with him, lol!!
My wait to get on Dr. Hsu's schedule wasn't too long. I was only a couple of weeks, and it honestly flew by fast. I hear his current wait time for consults is now a couple of months out. He is a very busy man, but well worth the wait! I knew he was "the one" during my consultation. He was very thorough, professional, and let me know I was a good candidate for a BBL, which is what I was hoping to hear. He honestly was a little more serious than I imagined, but also very kind, and I could tell he knew his sh*t!! His work and knowledge of the whole procedure itself was very impressive. His patient care coordinator, Trudi, along with the rest of his staff have been so helpful throughout this entire process. Everyone I’ve spoken to has been SO NICE!! After my consult, I put down my deposit right away, and scheduled my BBL (w/lipo 360 + arm lipo) for 03/15/18, a couple days ago.
I am currently only 3 days PO, and the pain is not as bad as I was preparing for. I just feel very uncomfortable having to sleep on my stomach, and also feel swollen, more than anything else. The lipo’ed areas, mainly in my stomach, only hurt when I get on and off my bed. But everything has been bearable so far. I’ll update more later, but for those of you who follow Dr. Hsu on IG, I was the one who was on his BBL Instagram story a couple days ago!! I was a little shy at first, but Amber made me feel so comfortable. I am so happy I shared my procedure and got to see everything afterwards. It is so weird seeing yourself get surgery, but I loved watching every second of it! I swear I viewed my BBL story over 10x before his story expired, lol!
I had my first massage today, and my husband took a few pics so I can get a better look without having my garment on. I already love and see my new shape, even though I am so swollen!! I think Dr. Hsu told me he put about 900cc on each side. I have my first follow-up appt with him on Wednesday, so I’ll update more after that. So far, I’m very happy with what I see. I really emphasized to him that I don’t want a big booty or dramatic hips. Just for him to fill in my hips/lateral butt dents, and to give me the beautiful curves he is known for. I think he gave me what I wanted!! =p

I’m currently 10 days post-op, and I’m slowly feeling more like myself everyday. The first week already feels like it happened so long ago.. The hardest days for me were actually day 3 and 4 because that was when my swelling climaxed, and I felt even bigger than before my Surgery! I called Dr. Hsu’s office to make sure this was all normal, and of course it was… lol. Dahyana was very thorough during my pre-op and even mentioned what to expect. But I guess when you are actually going through it, you forget many things that was told to you.. haha. The staff has been great though, and VERY patient!! On Wednesday, I had my 1 week f/u, and Dr. Hsu told me I look great!! I was just bummed when he told me I had to leave my drain in for a couple more days... That thing feels like an extra body part, and I’m always scared I’m going to pull it out on accident =(.. He likes to keep the drains in for about 10 days, so I will be coming back on Monday or Tuesday to take it out.
Besides that, the hardest part for me has been sleeping since I’m not a stomach sleeper… I’m getting desperate and thinking of getting that beanbag chair with a hole in the middle. Has anyone here tried that before??? Don’t want to spend extra money if it doesn’t work or isn’t comfortable, so please let me know what options have worked best for you all.

Finally got my drains taken out on Monday by Dahyana. I instantly felt so much better not having that extra foreign body on me!! My shape has definitely changed from the first week- I see more curves and booty now that my swelling has improved. Still feel tight everywhere that I got Lipo’ed and my butt is still hard, but everything feels a little softer day by day. I went back to work yesterday, and that was a little tough.. but I already told my coworkers about my surgery, so having to sit on a booty pillow was easy when everyone already knew why... lol.
