I've had lip injections 4x and NasoLabial Fold x3...

I've had lip injections 4x and NasoLabial Fold x3 over the past 8 years. My first time using fillers was with Restylane in 2008. I will admit I probably did not need them at age 32 but I remember being happy with the results.
I then tried Perlane injections in my lips and my overall experience was OK. I did develop white bumps that went away.
Two years ago I had my lips injected with Juvederm Ultra XC. The woman recommended to me said that she preferred using Juvederm because it looked natural.
I felt like it started wearing off after 8-10 weeks. I understand that Juvederm is thinner vs Restylane. I also took into consideration my age. I was approaching 39.
1 vile (only lips)
This last time was extremely confusing. I received both Juvederm XC in my lips and NasoLabial Folds. She used 2 vials which coated $700 each. I opted out of trying the new Pearl Restylane because I was told that is used more for fine lines vs volume.
I can tolerate pain but she seemed to inject further inside my lip vs the lip lines. 10 minutes after the injections I saw a huge white bump on my lower lip. I went back into the office and she said it was due to the coloration of my lip line/skin.
That evening I developed a huge bruise. I called her and she called in a prescription of Valtrex (I have never had a herpes sore on my mouth) but she insisted on taking it.
Fortunately the bruise healed within 5-7 days.
Three months later (today) I can already see and feel it wearing off. Could this be because due to metabolism of the filler?
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
