At 37 years old with 2 teenage boys I was feeling worse about myself than ever! When my boys were young I focused more on them than I did myself. Now that they are older and I spend a lot of time around teenagers I really started to feel insecure. I had thought about the mommy makeover for a couple of years and finally decided it was time. I couldn't have chose I better Doctor. Not only is he professional but very knowledgeable. I told him what I wanted my breasts to look like and he chose the size, shape, and placement. They look exactly like I had hoped, better actually! After about a year I decided that I didn't like the way the sides of my tummy tuck scar had caused little pouches of skin (commonly referred to as dogears). I called the office and they had me come in that week; and for a minimal fee Dr. Steely was able to repair them right there in his office. Although the recovery from the extensive surgery was a little rough at first the results are worth every minute and every penny! My life has changed completely. I have since lost 40 pounds and will be going in next week for Botox. I will be 40 years old in a few months and I became a grandmother a few months ago. I haven't met one person who believes me when I tell them that! It feels wonderful! Dr. Steely and his staff are truly amazing and I am so glad I didn't choose another Doctor! I would recommend them to anybody looking to change their life!

Thanks for sharing your story. I'm happy that you're pleased with your results. Do you mind if I ask what you told your sons about getting the surgery? It's something a lot of other moms deal with, so it would be great if you want to share.

I have always been open with my kids. They knew how unhappy I was about my body and considering I had been talking about it for so long it didn't come as a surprise. I just spoke about it in a matter of fact kind of way and then went and did it. My youngest was still at home (15) and he told me I could never have surgery again... LOL... He wasn't used to mom not being able to take care of everything like I always had. He sees how happy I am now and is happy for me! I don't dress provocatively so he isn't embarrassed of me. Actually I think he thinks it's pretty cool that his mom still looks so young!
