I just want to be able to look at myself in the mirror and appreciate the beautiful woman God me. 3 kids with my 1st being 11lbs and me starting off at 100 lbs then to 160-165 by the time I had my first did a lot to my tummy. I am optimistic Dr Patronella is the man for me. And I am praying God will guide his mind and his hands. Really anxious though and a bit scared! But ready for the change.

I only have two kids and my stomach looks like yours. I have a belly hernia as we'll. I would love to see your after pictures. I am still undecided to have surgery but I'm glad I found someone like me that I can relate.

I will try and post my pictures. It was a huge step for me. But I had to do it for myself...

Went for my 2 weeks Pre-op

I went for my pre-op on Friday. Was very reassured by Dr Patronella and his team and I feel a lot more comfortable than I was before i went in. The nurses were great and reassured all my fears some of them even sharing their personal experiences, which I thought was really sweet.

I am excited but also quite anxious but at the same time I am trying to stay calm. I am thinking all these things do I need a will? does my husband know where everything is? oh my! I am trying not to drive myself insane. Had a good quiet time this morning and I know the Lord is aware so its all him from here on out.

You will do just fine! Your husband will be told how to care for your bandaging. He will do a great job, I promise. Mine was better at it than I ever could have been. I was a month out, even 6 weeks PO and still afraid of my own bandaging.
Good luck! It will all be worth it!

The odds are powerfully in your favor that you are going to come through this just fine, and in a week or so, be so elated that you took the plunge to 'the flat side'. But I understand, this is the trying time. And it must be daunting to know that you're probably gonna be pretty uncomfortable for a week, or so. Scary stuff huh? Sigh :-(.

It sounds like you've done your homework and chosen a good and qualified doctor. So, just keep the faith that all will go really well, and in no time you will be picking out new bikinis with a big happy smile on your face and in your heart!
