No doubt this is a tough surgery and recovery, but it is so worth it. I had considered a tummy tuck for over ten years and finally at 53 I did it. Best decision ever. Dr. steely is the best and I'm so glad I choose him. I researched houstons top 10 plastic surgeons and interviewed 4! He did a truly amazing job. He has a very kind and down to earth way about him. Everyone of his staff is professional and very personable. So glad I choose him! I love my tummy tuck!!

I got my drains out on day 6. That seemed to be the turning point. Days 3-6 are pretty rough!!

That is a magic point in the process.

You do look great! I am also thinking about seeing Dr. Steely as I'm here in Houston too. You thought he was much better than the other dr.'s you consulted with?

Of all the consults I had he was the most professional and spent the most time with me. Answered all of my questions, and I had many.

Dr. Steely is Amazing! He also did my Tummy Tuck! He takes his time and the scar is barely visible! A think line. He's the Very BEST! You won't be sorry choosing him!

Going in for this plus breast reduction on June 7th myself. Been thru many painful back surgeries so I know what real pain is but am worried about pain on the tummy tuck. A whole new place. Insurance is covering mine so I get to at least stay in the hospital for 24 hours. So I'm sure that will help but I'm still very nervous about the pain and the drains going home I have three teenage boys and a husband that travels. How long was it until you are able to drive and to be somewhat mobile? Thank you for sharing your story

I didn't drive for about three weeks. Good Luck.
