WORTH IT
Overall experience -off the charts !! Very experienced and knowledgeable doctor who also gave a detailed timeline including goals and expectations regarding my situation . He not only instituted a game plan but was also kind enough to answer many questions which made sense and further educated me in the realm of hair restoration and maintenance. The staff was very considerate of my needs , which to me is a reflection of the high standards set by Dr Arocha. I look forward to seeing my results as I just underwent a FUT procedure. If you are wanting a surgeon that not only has the expertise but also a motivation for artistic passion , Dr Arocha is your guy. In my book, this doctor is the best of the best !

3 months post op update

So I am exactly 3 months post op and here is what I have. The redness in the recipient region is barely visible. I do have some growing and it appears as though the left is lagging behind. I do still have some original stubble that has not shed. Only 3 months post op, if this keeps up I should have some nice new hair at the end of all of this. So far so good !! I will post some pics this weekend when i have time. My new hair is grey, so will have to color it for you to see a noticeable difference.

UPDATED FROM made2care
7 months post
progression pics

Well, I'm 7 months and one week post op. Here are some pics revealing month to month progress.
Left side stronger than right but still have time to even out. I would have to state that month 5-6 was the pivotal point for me. Initial 5 months was very trying emotionally, I guess this validates the "ugly duckling " phase to a certain degree. Interesting observation that I will note and have discussed with my doc, there appears to be some very tiny stubble that is newgrowth which appears through the scalp and then does not progress. My doc assured me these would eventually grow. Some of these have lay dormant for 3-4 months and I'm still waiting for them to start growling. All in good time. Left side grew faster than right and is more dense than the left too. Will keep you posted.
