11 months post op
Here are some current pics at 11 months. My right side is not as dense but hoping it will catch up with other side. I still have some stubble on the right side too and I'm going to have to fly down to my doc to have him look at it. This stubble has not grown and maybe he can assess what it is.
progression pics
Well, I'm 7 months and one week post op. Here are some pics revealing month to month progress.
Left side stronger than right but still have time to even out. I would have to state that month 5-6 was the pivotal point for me. Initial 5 months was very trying emotionally, I guess this validates the "ugly duckling " phase to a certain degree. Interesting observation that I will note and have discussed with my doc, there appears to be some very tiny stubble that is newgrowth which appears through the scalp and then does not progress. My doc assured me these would eventually grow. Some of these have lay dormant for 3-4 months and I'm still waiting for them to start growling. All in good time. Left side grew faster than right and is more dense than the left too. Will keep you posted.

3 months post op update
So I am exactly 3 months post op and here is what I have. The redness in the recipient region is barely visible. I do have some growing and it appears as though the left is lagging behind. I do still have some original stubble that has not shed. Only 3 months post op, if this keeps up I should have some nice new hair at the end of all of this. So far so good !! I will post some pics this weekend when i have time. My new hair is grey, so will have to color it for you to see a noticeable difference.
